Obviously, the answer is yes. The way to combat global warming is to instigate global cooling. I thought everyone knew that. Here are some other handy tips to help fight global warming:
1) leave your refrigerator door open
2) let your car idle in the driveway with windows down and A/C on full blast
3) when the waiter brings you ice water at a restaurant, pour it on the floor and ask for a refill
4) get some of that canned air you use to clean electronic equipment and use it create a breeze

Yes if you run your Ac then in the summer if everyone did the same which they do then they trap all the cold air inside there house. So what happens in the area this happens rises a few degrees outside adding to already hot outside. This causes and draws the north pole cold air to come to the hot air at the location of all the running air conditioner's. It may not sound like much but it is just enough to affect global warming.
Not to mention the energy need to run the AC that will be adding to global warming.
Most people will not know this that hot air causes cold air to come to it.
What might happen is all cold air is kept inside for months enough time to make a ice glacier brake off. Just enough time cause the cold air to come to it.

This will not help global warming at all. The energy from the AC is making the air warmer. You should just leave your windows open and you will get a nice breeze if you want your room to be colder.

I usually don't urge people to promote global warming, but I will help you. One of the biggest contributors to global warming is driving and not recycling. Driving emits a lot of carbon into the atmosphere thus accelarating global warming, and by not recycling you force manufacturers to create more goods thus emiting fumes into the atmosphere and depleting the amount of trees. Another idea you could try to kill any algae you find because algae the greatest contributors to oxygen. Just pour hydrogen pyroxide on any you find, take them out of the water first to avoid harming wild life.

The causes of global warming can not be clearly defined at this time. It may just be a normal climate change. It has happened many times before. Learn from history! Question the alarmists!

you surely cant be serious. i cant believe that this is even a question on yahoo answers. global warming is not just about the earth getting warmer it is extreme temperature and weather shifts throughout the world. your A/C hurts the whole effort to cut pollution and stop the effects of global warming and im sure you already knew that. A/C uses power from polluting powerplants to cool down your house this in turn creates pollution, destroys habitats and ecosystems. you are definately doing your part to be uneducated though, i would suggest you research and read about pollution and global warming, the effects of it and how to change and adapt to living in a more responsible way.

In the summer, you can leave the air conditioner off while you are at work and program it to turn on in time to cool the house for your arrival home.
All the hours when your system is off becomes a great deal of savings on your utility bill, and a reduction in the amount of smog and global warming gasses released.

No, if I believed in Global Warming, which I don't, I would tell you that the constant, wasteful use of electricity is pollutant and adds to the amount of green house gasses by the consumption of energy. But I think it's all bologna.

It's not going to make one bit of difference one way or another. This earth pollutes its self far more than it's inhabitants ever can. Humanity can never produce enough green house gasses to even put a dent into this environment. This is science fact. I am not condoning irresponsibility concerning this environment, in fact I like a clean earth, but all potential warming and cooling is a factor of common earth fluctuations.

No, that makes things worse. It creates more heat outside your room than it does cool inside. So AC may cool your room but it heats up the rest of the world.
