You're hurt, and the first person who stops to help is wearing a "Proud Atheist" tee shirt. What do you do?

Who wouldn't?

What are we even talking about?

I'm not sure if you are trying to make a point that religion is not the most important piece of humanity, or if you are trying to suggest that Christians use bible camp to teach their kids that atheists have communicable, deadly diseases.

Accept the help offered... No matter what the tee-shirt read..

I would help someone no matter what religious beleif they held if they need help, they need help.. It is not in my nature to stand by and do nothing when another person needs help..

I am Atheist for those wondering..

See this is the problem with people. Why would you deny someone the opportunity to help you if you were truly in need. You would what? Wait for the next devout Christian to come along? And are you sure that the Christian would ever raise a finger to help you? Moral of the story is that people are people and if they are willing to help you smile and accept. Don't let something like religion stand in the way to help your fellow man.

Since I'm atheist, I'll turn it around so that it's as much a 'fair' question to me.

If someone who had a "Jesus Saves" shirt was going to help me, I would accept it. Of course, I would also be curious to tell them I was atheist and see if they regret helping me or not, or would 'change their mind' upon hearing that if they hadn't helped me yet.

Why would an atheist stop to help? It seems that atheists have no morals...

Oh wait, this is a hypothetical question, right? One of those "never gonna happen, but let's see what if.."

Yeah, well, at the off chance an atheist without morals would actually stop to help me, I'd accept his help. He'd probably have a chuckle at my "Thank God I'm an atheist" t-shirt.

I certainly would, but then again I'm probably not representative of the population on the R&S section of YA, being an atheist! However, looking at most of the relpies to questions, I might be representative of the people on R&S...

I am guessing an xian would rather die, or try and convert you with their last breath

Why on earth would an atheist be stopping to help you? Haven't you been reading the posts around here, by Christians? Atheists are demons, the children of Satan, and going to Hell. They are evil, they have no morals, they boil babies and eat them for breakfast. If I were you, I would get up off the ground, wipe the blood out of my eyes, and kick the evil one in the, er, rump.

Sure.

And if needed, I'd help someone wearing a "Proud Atheist" tee shirt.

I'd accept the help. If that person in the t-shirt had a nice rack I might pour a bucket of water on it too.
