Every supposed prophecy in the Bible has been interpreted to mean different events throughout history, they can, and have all been reused over and over again. Even Nostradamus wrote clearer prophecies, and his strategy was to make them so they could be interpreted differently by any individual.

I don't mind people studying this stuff, but if you are trying to add credibility to the Bible, you might want to look a little further.

The Bible is the ONLY book that has fulfilled and future prophecies. No other book.

Calculate the prophecies about Jesus Christ (Birth, life, and resurrection)

Only The Lord God is accurate and can not lie.

Ever read the book of Daniel? The prophecies about the fall of Babylon, rise and fall of Persia/ Media, and the rise and fall of Greec under the Great King that would conquer the world (Alexander?) is very compelling. Not to mention Daniel also writes of Rome conquering Greece and splitting into two halves. That also happened.

Dewcoons: Valid prophecy can't be self-fulfilling.
You can't say " this is what will happen to our messiah", and then have someone say those very things and claim it's the fulfillment of prophecy.
First, it's hearsay at best.
Second, it's already set up and waiting for someone to come along and say it.
It would have all the validity of taking any other words out of any other psalm, uttering them yourself and claiming that you are only fulfilling prophecy.

That's the problem with 'prophecies'.

They are only proof, if you have faith in the prophet, and the person who claims they have found evidence that the prophecy was fulfilled.

Try taking a look at Psalms 22 sometime and see how "vague" it is about the events of the crucifixion of Christ.
