Yep, same God. Different names and interpretations on what He did and does and will do though.

No, you are not mistaken. Yahweh is the God of the Jews, Muslims, and Christians. It is easier to see this when you see the history behind Abraham. Jews worship the God of Abraham. There is little question that the Christians also worship the same God as the Jews. The question for many involves the Muslims. The problem is that there are three different ways of looking at God. It is NOT a different God. Allah is god in Arabic. Allah is also the God of Abraham, and more specifically the God of Ishmael, Abraham's son. People forget that the history of the Jews and the Muslims overlap at the point of Abraham and Sarah -- and the birth of Ishmael. There are many people that do NOT believe that the Muslims are worshipping the same God, and the fail to understand that Muslims worship the God of the Torah. They follow the Torah, the gospels, and the Qu'ran. Being that the God of the Torah and the Gospels is the same one that the Christians and Jews follow, I again see we are all worshipping the same God. Also, Muslims believe that Allah (God) sent Jesus as a prophet. Showing, another way that it is the SAME God. People focus too much on the differences and forget that we are actually brothers and sisters in the same faith working towards the same God.

No they are very different. When Abraham first meet "God" he mistakenly believed that He was el shadiah the God of the Holy Mountain, that is He (God) was just another one of thousands of pagan gods. As time went on God revealed Himself to Abraham and his children as the one and only God. It is really not till Exodus when God tells Moses "I am who I am" that the Jews realize that this is a mono theistic Singular God. As history then goes God sends His only Son (an aspect of Himself) Jesus who redeems mankind and stands for us as a righteous man before God, we as humans can never be righteous in the eyes of God but Jesus stands for us as the only intercessor. The Story of God relationship with people ends there for now (The next chapter is the Second Coming at the end of time (notice the end of Time, does not necessarily mean the end of the world, we know not the day or the hour))
Allah is an add-on. Islam preaches that Muhammad was the last prophet If you believe that you cannot believe that Allah is the Same God as the one who sent (and was) Jesus. Allah evolved from a pagan moon god
(and for some reason I always get reported for this I do not know why. I never get reported when I say the Judeo-Christian God evolved from the God of the Holy Mountain but that is an issues for the political YA that is why are Muslims so sensitive and why do we live in a society that must kowtow to their version of political correctness)
Any way they are not the same God. The Jews and Christians have the same God, we differ on the concept of the Messiah. Allah is a separate God who the Koran tried to link with the God of the Christian and Jews but who is not comparable because of historic and religious circumstance and for a difference in modus operation.

Jews and Christians would likely agree that they believe in the same God. Although things would get sticky concerning the person of Jesus for the Jews.
However many to most Christians might not agree that the Muslim God in the Koran is the same God in the Bible.

Same God. One and only Creator of all. Different ways of worship. How else can you explain the same stories of ancient prophets starting from Adam, continuing towards Abraham and on, written and shared in all three holy books?
The story of the Angel Gebrail bringing a ram to prevent Abraham from sacrificing his son for God is written in both Qoran and Bible. Muslims even have a religious holiday to celebrate this biblical event. If you read all three holy books, you will see a lot of same historical stories shared and repeated in them
Hope this answers your question.

Yes, you are mistaken. Though they all claim they worship the "God of Abraham," it cannot be possible. The Christian God is "one with Jesus." Since Jews don't believe in Jesus being anything but mortal, they cannot have the same God. Islams understanding of Jesus (among other things) is also incompatible with the Christian God.

Christians are adopted Jews (we gentiles are grafted onto the vine of Abraham)
We believe in Jehovah - one of God's names too but we believe he took human form in the person of Jesus and once His body died, He returned in the Person of the Holy Spirit.
Muslims believe this is hogwash and that God can't have a son .... errrrrmm, He's God, He can do anything He wants.
They also believe that although Jews and Christians are Peoples of The Book, they have lost their way and changed The Book beyond all recognition.
Basically, the three groups believe in one God and that God is One, though we shall never agree on what form He takes.

anyone can make up any god they want and call it any name they want and claim it is the only god... there are lots of them... the Jews and the Christians believe in the same God... the islamists follow a made up "religion"/ cult founded by moo-ham-eed(npbuh). He claimed it came from a god he called allah and that this allah was the god of Abraham... but that is a deception... The God of Abraham which the Jews and the Christians follow is Not the so-called god allah...
The God of Abraham is The One True God. The Creator of this universe and all that is in it.
