Aaliyah-the lady doth protest too much methinks- the cellulite will clear up if you do some more exercise-like trying to avoid the beatings from your husband and the groping from his friends/brothers/uncles,etc.

can you all stop referring to women who dress in a hijab/veil as "Those poor women" it is offensive to women who "choose" to wear this item of clothing. You are all assuming that Every Muslim woman wears it.. come on open your eyes how often do you see an Asian/Muslim woman and how many are dressed in a hijab/veil.......not many eh???
These women are often above the material values of others and are often very spiritual and "HAPPY".
fair enough if a woman was being forced to wear this then I also would have an objection.
I do not have any Muslim female friends or relatives who dress as a "Ninja" (You prat).. so it is a rare thing, however they are all commited muslims.
when a woman is wearing it do not disrespect her by assuming she is a submissive and bullied individual because very often these are educated and intelligent human beings who would give you a run for your money in any discussion you may want to undertake.

soo many times iv read or heard
non-muslim guys throw a fit when either their daughter or girlfriend or wife wears revealing attire because they don't like the idea of some random guy eyein them up..
in islam women tend too cover up because they want to within themself,not because men tell them too..
iv seen alot in muslim families its women who are the boss,most of the men are softies...
take this eg if you went to shop would you buy a bar of chocolate that was open?
obviously not!
you would buy the 1 that is sealed,fresh..
hence why women in islam wear veil

Most don't want to wear them, they bow to pressure from Men & sometimes the older Women, of their family.
the reasons behind the burka are cultural not religious & is why there were riots in France, when they banned all religious dress & emblems.
the Muslims tried to say the burka was a religious symbol & it back-fired on them.
the sooner they're banned here the better.
i've talked to women, they're dangerous, restrictive & make the woman a second-class citizen, compared to the men, why have we fought in this country for Equal Rights when it's not extended to these poor women?
i agree in part with your statement, but still doubt the Government will get their finger out & ban them.
& to add weight to your argument,
a terrorist DID take his mother-in-laws burka & returned to the Sudan,
where he maintained his life would be in danger, to be granted Asylum here.
