for example, so prophecies that were specific about dates, times, places, events....or perhaps a prophet 2500 years ago saying "the lord has told me that Energy = Mass x the speed of light^2"
What would it take?

I'm very open minded- I'd take any kind of REAL, hardcore, unarguable evidence laid before me, and I'd take it..... but I haven't seen anything yet.

If you tell me that the lord has told you something, how on earth is that proof to me? The lord didn't not give anyone advanced mathamatics so as usual, your example is just dumb.

Prophecies and other nonsense are man made fantasies, where is there any proof?

No, much like aliens landing on the White House lawn, god would have to do the same. Appear and say hi. And not at Caesars palace.

God putting a stop to all the pseudo Christian egotists that have twisted his word so much and done so much damage to Christianity!!!

Why would he worry about atheists when there are so many pseudo Christian egotists posting here making all Christians look stupid?

There are good Christians out there - maybe they do not want to be associated with such questions as this!!!

God = love, forgiveness, tolerance, inclusiveness and forgiveness.

Not the what this sort of question suggests!!!!

TO YOU ATHEISTS-

I SAW TWO VIDEOS OF COMPLETELY SEPRATE PEOPLE WHO WHERE ATHEISTS AND HAD A NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE.
One of them had not beleived in God since the age of seven.
Geuss what? They didn't see the light. They saw the flame. They went to Hell, came back, and wrote books of it. You hear of books like "90 Minutes In Heaven", but one of them wrote the book "23 Minutes In Hell." Haha! One of you non-believers actually had a NDE, and saw the burning fires of Hell. He saw his body while he was a spirit, he was pulled by Satan to the pits of Hell, and described the abosolute agony of the The Underworld. He described the ultimate series of screams, groans, and cries of people echoeing everywhere. He said the smell was rancid and putrid, and that though you could no die, a great flame envelepoed you and burned you in complete torture. As if that wasn't enough he said demons were all about laughing and obtaining great pleasure from the torture of these people, and inflicting pain on tehm theirselves. He was a NONBELIEVER. AN ATHEIST. And since then he repented, changed his entire life, and acceptable the almight Lord Jesus. But ofcourse I bet thats still not enough, for you are all so stubborn. I remember the story of an atheist who was converted, for a child you died in a hospital told his mother that their Uncle Bob said hi. Their Uncle Bob died ten years before the child was born but shockingly the never told him of his uncle. How else could he know? And I suppose you say all the thousands of NDE's are illusions, and that in your stubbornness and ignorance believe all religions aren't true, that you say exocisms are fake, that Bibles were made-up, and that even people who talk to God must be crazy. Why do you strive to oppose Gods glory? How pitiful. I just pray God will reach out to you and save your soul before its too late. Science has "theories" and can't disapprove the obvious existance of God.

You will remember this one day and cry at your own ignorance as you burn in the eternal flame. This life is an illusion, like a film being projected that convinces you its the only world. Do you really want to live your life in fear knowing that you will either die and never have existed or be eternally tortured?

Ofcourse, I myself say unto you, accept God and Lord Christ Jesus before its too late.

Prophecies are useless unless you were actually there to hear them prophesied, and there again when the prophecy was fulfilled - and even then, they could just be informed guesses (or seriously convoluted interpretations of what the prophecy actually said would happen).

I don't know that there is anything that would make me suddenly 'believe'.

I've answered this question before...like this:

All at once in every country in the world, every communications device, i.e., televisions, computers, radios, etc. goes completely silent and then a voice is heard coming from all of those devices as well as coming from everywhere which can be heard by all people in their own language that says, "I am God...how do you do?"

You're asking the wrong audience, my friend. I believe you want to address this to the Agnostics. Atheists are already convinced there is no god. Any further discussion is merely a futile act.

I don't know. It would be nearly impossible to figure out what evidence it would be. Even prophecies wouldn't really explain God's existence -- it would just show that time is problematic.

that would go a long way. then I would spend a long time saying Einstein cheats. some miracles would help. A prospective randomized controlled trial of prayer/laying on of hands vs best chemotherapy/radiation/surgery in the treatment of esophageal cancer showing that prayer/laying on of hands was 100% effective would work as well.

I'm not an athiest but I'm a bit agnostic... and I'd really have to have a true personal experience in order to convince me.

Like if God literally came down and spoke to me, I'd probably be convinced.

If God tapped me on the shoulder and said watch this. Then proceeded to do something out of the realms of physics or scientific fact.
