are there any provisions for legal immigrants who have been here for a long time but their status are in limbo to be able to at least work in this country according to the new immigration bill if passed?
Thanks for your answers

Ok, I belong to one of those super rare cases. We immigrate in the US through an international organization. I came here when I was 16 and its been 8 years now.
The law(in my case) states that I can only work here until I turn 25 after that theres no way to work, unless i have been here for 7 years between ages of 5 - 21 years. Anyway i didnt qualify for that.
I have an employer who is willing to petition me but because of the current green backlog, it takes at least 4-5yrs just to get a working permit! I dont have an BS degree yet just an AS so i didnt qualify for H1-visa.
So i just want to know if anyone can help me with this. I just want to work because i have bills
