God is not the author of confusion. (1 Corinthians 14:33)

Anyone else ever been confused by something in the Bible?

Only because you didn't decide to believe in whatever it said before you started reading it.

Just accept it!!

Yes, God is the author of the Bible. The Bible is the inspired Word of God. God gave His prophets visions and told them to write the visions. God told His prophets exactly what to write. Apostle John said Jesus did so many miracles that if he listed them all a book could not hold them. Christ was a High Priest on this earth for three years. That is a lot of miracles but then Christ is God.

If you feel confused about what you read, ask God to reveal the true meaning of it to you. The Bible takes years of study because God tells us it is written "line upon line, precept upon precept and here a little and there a little." From Genesis to Revelation it is all about Christ Jesus.

What that verse means is that God doesn't intentionally try to confuse us. Just because you can't always understand God doesn't mean that it's His fault or that He is trying to confuse you on purpose. Think about it. How much does He know? How much do you know? Of course His Word will confuse you sometimes. It's no big deal. Just ask Him to show you what it means and maybe look at people's interpretations on the internet or in the library or wherever. Also remember that the Bible wasn't written to you directly, so keep it in context.

God is not the author of the bible. Men wrote the bible, and changed and omitted things to oppress women. That is not God's way. I have read the bible, and choose to follow Jesus' example. Love everyone. That's it. Simple but true. And I didn't need church to tell me that. I found it on my own. If more people would live a life of love and acceptance of ALL people the world would be at peace.

Anything that is confusing in the Bible is due to the lack of study and understanding.

The apostle Paul said we can understand what he wrote. "If yet, you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me towards you: how that, according to revelation, the mystery has been made known to me, as I have written above in few words; as you reading, may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ." (Eph. 3:2-4). Paul said the mystery had been made know to him by the revelation of God. He then showed that he was writing it e.g., "as I have written above in few words" (in the chapters prior to this) and "as you reading, may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ." In other words, when we read what he wrote, we can understand what he understood. Paul also said , "For we write nothing to you that you do not read and understand" (2 Cor. 1:13) and "Therefore do not become foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is" (Eph. 5:17). Thus, the inspired writers taught that we most certainly can understand the Scriptures.

Yes. 2Tim 3:16, 17: "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."

2 Pet. 1:21: "For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit."

God is the Author of the Bible. It is true He used several men to write it, but the words are all His.

The bible is a conglomeration of stories collected and edited by the early and most corrupt of the Roman Catholic Popes.

God is definitely the author of the Bible, my pastor told me so. Don't believe any wicked Catholics who tell you that they had a hand in it. The Bible was written by God's own hand--every word of it is God's.
