No but she did punish me if I snuck into the pantry and ate a bag of candy I had no right to, especially before dinner. You see, that was forbidden. Eating dinner was not.

You clearly have never attempted to eat anything my grandmother cooked.. Nothing was delicious... I loved her dearly but she could not cook..

No, because I didn't really know my grandparents. But, my mother would punish me for doing something she told me not to do. (She's such a mean mother, huh??)
