Yes, crime has a tendency to pay until you get caught. The real question is if the crime is worth the time? The more the pay the more likely you get caught for the crime.

No crime doesn't pay. Short term it may but long term you'll more than likely get caught and them life sucks. Worst case you become someone's prison biotch. Nothing is worth that.
