I was wondering how is the sale of Windows Vista going?

I don't mean those sales being placed in new computers pre-installed but for people switchin to it.

My thought is that it is not very good as it's so expensive.

I'm sticking to my XP as long as support is around for it, or if Vista comes down in price significantly.

Vista sales will be low at the start, due to the unbelievably high costs. This come down to business studies... The demand will be low as the costs are high, as the start of production means low supplies. However, as the amount of sales rise, the production rate will increase, so the costs will decrease will supplies increase. It is quite simple really. I doubt the sales will be going well. The sales may have been going well when it first came out, due to the great publicity, but I doubt it would like that now.

I don't think Vista will come down in price. I bought the Home Premium upgrade with a student discount for around $70, but I don't know of many people who actually upgraded their XP computers.
