I believe Jesus was in touch with higher forms of life...I mean he conversed with extra-terrestres, who are often referred to as Angels, who passed on their knowlege to him. I believe, if I remember rightly, he was seen conversing with Elija and Moses on one occasion, was he not? Then he was seen to rise up to Heaven. Well, that sounds very much an extra-terrestre situation to me, besides there being countless other episodes one could mention
Well,if this was the case, then I think he must have known about cancer, including everything else there was to know about the Human body, illnesses etc. and it apears he did his best to help people who were ill and suffering. I think that shows he cared, but evidently it wasn`t the time to reveal such things to the general public. If he had expounded this knowlege he would have been condemmed far earlier. However he did stick his neck out by saying that he was from another world,! or so we are told, and that must have been a shocking enough thing for many people to hear.
Of course he must have known about cancer!
In any case, who knows what he told people? Only a tiny part of his words have been passed down to us, and even then they were put together some time after his death by Scribes. Only St John actually knew him in life.
So no, I for one don`t find it crappy of him., for the reasons I have given.
Best wishes, S.

Christianity frowns upon smoking and gluttony and any other overindulgent lifestyle behavior which can lead to cancer. The Bible frequently stresses that "the body is a temple" and therefore one should keep themselves clean and pure. But yes, the Book of Genesis says that, "God created the world with wisdom." If cancer is a biological flaw than how can that be part of the overall wisdom of God's creation? Good point.

Jesus knew where cancer came from and He told us in His Word.
Jesus told us if we would listen to Him and keep His commandments that He would not put any of the diseases upon us.
Jesus told us that a curse, without a cause, does not come.
Any disease is a curse and the cause is sin. Whether it is our sin or sin of our forefathers, it doesn't matter. But a curse, without a cause, does not come on us. Proverbs 26:2

You don't believe in him anyway. Perhaps cancer is an evolutionary thing. You know, things just evolve into other things. It came out of the same swamp that all of the different species of insects, amphibians, mammals, etc. came from. How big was that swamp? What was her name anyway?
