I'm getting a small tattoo on the back of my neck today, pretty high up above most of the spinal bones. I was wondering any input of people who have tattoos there of how painful it will be?

depends on your tolerance level and how deep they use the needle. As long as it is small then it wont take too long to do. You should be ok. Just dont move around and relax.

your spine goes all the way to the base of your skull so you can't get a tattoo on your neck that is above the spinal bones unless you are actually getting it on your skull.
i have never had a neck tattoo but i have had most of my spine tattooed and it hurts a lot.

I have a lot of tattoo's in various places and can honestly say the small one I have on the back of my neck was the least painful of all of them. Either way, it wont be as bad as you're expecting, they never are.

You have to bear in mind that it will hurt for a while but if its only small it won't take long. Hopefully it will look amazing and will last a lifetime for a few minutes of pain. No pain no gain!

its not that painful at first a its a little painful but after that its a walk in the park

tattos hurt wherever you get them bc they are sticking you with a needle sooo go 4 it but it willl hurt

um yes it does hurt alot..well i think it depends on where u get it, and it tickles wen dey fill it in......VERY PAINFUL THO

yes you should get it if u lke it. it is your mind.You could take Tylenol or anything but not any drug drugs like weed. wut r u gettin???...................HAve fun.
