Congrats on losing 20 pounds! To lose the extra pounds try this. Carefully balance what you eat. Make sure that what you eat has a good balance of Carbs, protein and fat.
Here are the types of carbs, protein and fat you should be consuming.

Carbs- vegetables and fruits - Avoid carrots, bananas.
Whole wheats - Avoid white bread. Search for the glycemic index to get a idea of what carbs to eat. Avoid those foods high on the glycemic index.

Protein - Lean meat such as fish, chicken and turkey. Egg substitute omlets are good for any meal.

Fat - Believe it or not, you need fat to lose fat. Eat peanut butter, peanuts, almonds, olives and even a little Mayo with your turkey is necessary. Don't go overboard. Just a few almonds will do or a tsp of Mayo. However, don't cut fat out of your diet. Avoid saturated fats and trans fats.

And of course, avoid Sugar at all costs. This includes corn syrup which is in so much of what we eat.
And lastly, continue to exercise! Good luck, you can do it!

It's really very simple. Every day you're consuming the amount of calories that sustain you at the weight that you currently are (you should be proud that you've already lost 20 lbs!). You have to figure out, by eating less food, the amount of calories that will sustain you at your desired weight. Cut out snacking, substitute soda with flavored club soda (not diet soda!), and reduce your intake each meal. Consuming less calories is the only thing that will work -- don't think that exercise alone will do it. You should exercise anyway for your general health. Don't think in terms of "dieting." You have to make a permanent lifestyle change in the way you eat to be successful.

You probably lost muscle, so your metabolism dropped.

That is why exercise with proper diet is the way to go. Add muscle, and lose fat. Muscle is dense and firm, fat is light and fluffy.

Weigh a pillow, then find a package of food that weighs the same. Which would you rather have as part of you, for one pound ?
