I think those that mentioned the Self Esteem may be correct. A good positive attitude makes you happy and you smile more. I feel this helps to attract the opposite sex. People want to have fun and when you happy and cheerful you look like a fun person to be around.
Years ago I knew a woman, she was pretty, but, always sad, hardly ever smiled. When you ask her how things were going, it was always negative. People called her "Sleprock" he was the guy in Flintstones cartoons that always had a Cloud over his head. She was a nice person, but, her negativity brought others down, so, no one really wanted to be around her. This really did not help her self esteem either. So, try to find some things in life that excite you. When people ask how you doing, try to find something that has happened positive for you. Even if it was finding a penny tails up.
"If, you find a penny pick it up, if it tails you will have good luck"!
I think that how it goes. LOL!

OK this how it goes; "Find a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck"

See, it not even need to be on tails. So, grab that penny you wild and crazy girl! :-p

You can get a man regardless if you have little or no self-confidence, but he might not treat you right. Think highly and positive of yourself, focus on all the positive things about yourself, don't let the bad out weight the good, and just learn to be self confident!!!! Sometiimes it doesn't hurt to boost your own ego, just don't go over the top with it.

Find a way to establish some confidence and then if there's one man inparticular start talking to him to see if he already has a girl or not... if not build up the courage to ask him out.. the worst that could happen is he'd say no - life goes on.. ask another... If you have friends that have guy friends get them to hook you up with one... that's a little less awkward way to have a date but don't seem desperate. Good luck sista!

Get your confidence first. That's more important then getting the man.

If you don't feel confident, find something about your appearence that you like, and play it up. It could be one or more things: your eyes, lips, legs, smooth skin, nice bust, toned arms, etc.
Wear makeup or clothes that show it off.

Also, find something that interests you and get good at it. In other words, a hobby. It might be music, singing, reading, sports, dancing, etc.

Finding something that gives you confidence, other then your looks, is more long lasting.
When you are confident, you are relaxed, and more guys are likely to approach you.

=)

Considering we are still in the hair section of this thread, my suggestion would be , go for a new style that makes you feel .." Kewl" and attractive to yourself...It always helps to look in the mirror and see an attractive person looking back.
This goes both ways by the way; ladies and gents....good luck... ( you know how you feel when you go on that special date); well put it out there with a new hair style ........ confidence...you can do it. We all can.

I personally think people changing themselves just to get a mate is wrong. Don't have much confidence? Run with it. Be who you are and someone will come along that matches you perfectly. The best way to help this along is to just be friendly and yourself. Meeting lots of people and making sure to not change yourself for anything but you and your happiness. You don't need anyone to make you happy but yourself and once you are happy, it will be easy to find someone that makes you even happier.

You work on getting self-confidence first, then work on the man.

Just say hi to him. You don't need to ask him out. Just start by being friendly. It'll happen. Good luck.
