There is a specific progression shown throughout the Bible. The Old Testament speaks of the Mosiac Laws given to the Jews (Isrealites) and tells of the coming of Christ and the New Testament from which we get Christianity. God's laws have been in effect since the beginning of creation so the start of this progression predates ANY other religion. Christianity is the end result of God's Laws set forth at the creation.
Nothing predates God's laws because nothing predates the creation. The other "Gods" are borrowed from the true God, the God of creation, the God that is the same in the New Testament and Old Testament. Since Jesus is part of the Godhead and is God himself, He has also been there from the beginning. Therefore, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit predate all other gods as well.

These things that you speak of were all adopted by the Roman Catholic Church in the 4th century and later. (by Constantine, Justinian, etc.)
These things are not the essence of the original teachings of The Way that the transcendant Christ brought about in the 1st century, and which the true disciples taught up until the 4th century.
It was Justinian who would kill any individual that opposed the views of the Roman Church. And thus, we have been left with corrupted scriptures that, over time, many have been taught to believe are the undefiled scriptures of the original teachings.
Basically... Modern day Christian doctrine rests upon the premise that God preserved the Bible in an absolute infallible and pure state, in order that all men should know the (historical) truth and believe in the Son of God. Their doctrinal position is that if God permitted the Bible to have been altered, then the present day church could not be genuine.
Based upon this dogmatic presumption that the Christian Church must be maintained in order for man to be saved, they reason that God would not allow the written word of the scriptures to be corrupted. Thus, modern Christians cling to this doctrine -- ignoring overwhelming evidence to the contrary -- evidence that demonstrates conclusively that our Bible has been severely altered and edited (as I stated above) -- because they fail to grasp the very foundational principles of the New Covenant itself -- principles that are not historical, but spiritual.
It is not until we understand that the Bible is a road-map that leads us to the Gate of the Kingdom, and the Word that is written in our hearts -- rather than a final revelation from God to man -- that we are able to even begin to come to terms with the Spiritual Gospel of Christ that can never be corrupted.
When directly confronted with the overwhelming evidence and facts with respect to the wholesale corruption of the scriptures, the fundamentalist defensively responds with the rather absurd assertion that "God wrote the King James Version of the Bible". Thus, no amount of rationale will convince them that because we are the prodigal sons of our Heavenly Father, and the Kingdom is within us (Luke 17:21), that all those who truly live a consecrated life will be shown the undefiled Word of God that can be accessed by journeying along the narrow path that opens the "strait gate" that leads to the indwelling Temple (1 Cor 3:16).
The great truth which the modern Christian fails to comprehend is that, even in its corrupted form, the Bible as it has been passed down to us is sufficient to manifest the Living Word of God in the life of the individual believer.
One only has to open the New Testament to almost any page to find the message: If the believer consecrates their lives -- becomes teachable by releasing their minds from an adherence to the doctrines of men -- forgive all and judge no one -- live a simple life that is unencumbered -- do no harm to any of God’s creatures -- and seek in solitude the companionship of the Lord in the inner Temple -- that the Holy Spirit will Anoint and Teach you all the Mysteries of God as the believer begins the journey home to the Kingdom.
If the believer begins to live the consecrated Christian life -- free of the thinking and entanglements of this world -- then the indwelling Word will reveal all things to those who are sincere in their search for the Truth.

My faith is in Christ - not this religion or that (although corporate fellowship and worship is needed and biblical).
No other man or false god who claimed to be God ever performed miracles like Christ, fulfilled prophecy from hundreds of years prior, be born from a virgin, have His birth announced before it happened by a star in the East, and be the first to overpower death and reappear to over 500 people. And on and on...
To be able to do these things as He said He would makes the rest of what He taught very real. Only the foolish choose to not believe.
The miracles in my life through Christ just add to this list.
That is why Christianity has been proven to be the one true Way -- Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Faith is universal, and there really is only one. It looks different, from diferent places, in diferent ages, but all of the ancient faiths were in fact looking for a messiah. All the faiths missed him. Even the Jews. Even Jesus best Jewish friends. Even his Mom. They all had a glimpse of reality. Each perspective was diferent.
To say you, or only you and certain others have a lock on salvation, is Anti-Christ. It's that simple. It's not for us to judge, we are just the messengers.
Marked in the head, by bigoted thoughts, and in the hand by discriminatory deeds. Organized religion would have you barter, through them, for salvation. Salvation is between you and God. Look for it, you will see it soon. Not in world events, but in you.

Christian just means you believe in God, it's not an actual religion and I don't think you really know what my beliefs are. I can justify calling my religion the one true path because I've prayed to God and been answered. I haven't been taught to believe, in fact, I've just been taught and decided for myself to believe. Are you Christian? Because if you're not I really don't think you could understand anyones answer to this question.

You can have your 90% of borrowed beliefs. I will take 100% of the rest. Jesus Christ is the only one to have risen from the dead and no other religion can claim that. Where is Buddha or Muhammad? Not seated at the right hand of the Father.
Oh, just so you know. I have a personal relationship with Him and that is all the proof I need.

My God calls out all the other gods by name... the other "gods" don't even dare speak the name of my Lord - they discredit His son and prohibit their followers from considering Him and His righteousness.
that's how I know His is the one true path
From the god(s) of fate, luck, ba'al, kaiwan - just to name a few - my God names them, tells you they are available, but that they are not the Way.
Takes a big God to name options and allow you to choose - rather than deny the existence of anything else.

It's kinda like this.
If the answer to a question is 4985
If you have 4 as your answer, and your friend has 85 as his answer, you both have part of the correct answer, but not the entire correct answer. Get it?
Other religions can have hints at the truth, and that even makes it easy to see how they somehow fell away from the truth over time.

God made Himself known from the very beginning. Of course our faith seems similar to other faiths because they had the knowledge but not the understanding. The "unknown god" they had was the known God we have today.
