I think that senators do have a direct number and yes, the call is free:

1 (800) Senators-4-Sale... but you will have to fake being a multinational corporate exec to get by the screeners.

This number is being paid for by LaRaze, a group that also publishes a list of what areas do not require voter ID.

Use this number to tell your Senators that immigrants need to go home and stand in line behind the people who had the morality to wait for their VIsas to come through.

Let LaRaza pay for your call!

I called and they transferred me to my Senator's office. I asked if there was a 1-800 number for Americans / legal residents to use and she said no. However, this toll free number is paid for by some anti American / pro criminal illegal alien group per Sen Durbin's office.

I was polite with both calls. I hope millions of Americans use this number and this amnesty for illegals group eats the bill.

I keep calling this number and voicing my vote against amnesty for illegal aliens to both of my senators. I suggest Americans use this number and make this pro criminal illegal alien amnesty group has to eat the cost of Americans who want these criminals deported immediately like we did under President Eisenhower! I can canceled your call meavle. Its sad people can vote registering with their mexican matricular card.

I called it, and this is right - it is totally in Spanish. Only part in English is when it tells you how to prounounce and say the words "Support immigration reform that protects families and workers." Then it lets you choose one of your Senators (push 1 for Warner, 2 for Webb in Virginia). Then it transfers your call automatically.

So are you saying that we as Americans who speak the language of our country can't even call these people because the message is in Spanish???? That is CRAZY!!! But somehow I am not even surprised with our Anti-American government!

I am sick and tired of being the least important citizen of this country! I was born and raised here and have been paying taxes for 18 years of my life, yet these people that cross the border ILLEGALLY (with whom we can't even communicate with because they won't learn our language) are more important than ME and the rest of the Americans.

When are we going to stand up for our OWN rights?? I refuse to become the minority in my OWN damn country!! This is outrageous!!

However, thank you for the information! I am going to try to call that number.

I called and told them vote no and asked the lady why they didn't have a toll free line for Americans to call and express their opposition to the Amnesty Bill . She said she didn't know and then asked me for my name and address , she then told me the line was paid for by a group called LaRaza and they are paying for toll free lines to all Senators .
I asked if she had received a lot of calls and she said , " The lines have been loaded with many calls .
I told her that I have supported my Senator for years and would continue to do so if he voted NO !!
Please call your Senator , it only takes a little of your time and means a lot for your children and your country .
