No, the old "Everybody worships something" argument is trite and fallacious. Theists can care just as much about gold and money as an atheist can. Compare Pat Robertson to a Buddhist (read: non-theistic) monk.
Besides, holding something up as being more important than anything else does not necessarily mean it's "worship".

I'm not sure your assertion is correct - it would have been nice to have a source, if you have one.
To try and answer your question, though, I'm not sure everyone necessarily "worships" something, really. I dont think being an atheist means you replace worshiping God with worshiping something else. I think its just about having a different take on God and religion, and choosing to walk through life with a different viewpoint.

What might want to you do with out money. Scientists can artificially make diamonds presently and gold is a mineral. Why might want to I worship a mineral. Why might want to I worship in any respect? I matter upon money like you. yet i do no longer worship it.

your not that bright are you? who would an atheist pray to? i think many people no matter their religious beliefs want money. and for you to say it's all atheist means your just spitting out rhetoric given to you by your local preacher man, who probably drives a nice car, lives in a nice house provided by your church's parishioners, who haven't realized that you can have a relationship w/ God w/out giving your money away...
