and I've found out that he's never gone out with anybody and he's not like secretive or anything we're like really good friends and all of the sudden I'm liking him A LOT and I'm not really sure what to do about it.

Bring it up gently, dont pressure him. Maybe just tell him, 'I'm developing feelings for you and I want you to know, but if it's not reciprocated I love being your friend and that's enough for me" As long as you're just trying to be truthful it shouldnt scare him away or make him freak out.

Maybe he's waiting for you to make your mind up about the way you feel about him.Take the plunge and ask him out,you might find your soul mate(corny,I know),or at least you'll have an answer as to weather he likes you that way or not.Are you sure he hasn't gone out with anybody in 3yrs?Is there a possibility he might be gay and you just haven't noticed or that you've ignored the signs because you like him allot?If it turns out that way,remember he's still your buddy,don't turn your back on him out of disappointment.He could become your greatest ally when it comes to finding a single guy,you know:)

Did you just start liking him when you found out he hadn't dated anyone? That's a bit off. What I would do is see if your attraction lasts- make sure it isn't just a quick crush. If it does last, ask yourself if there is enough of a chance that he would return the feelings to make it worth you possibly jeopardizing your friendship when you make your feelings known. Many times a friendship is better than a possible relationship- it will all come down to the strength and longevity of your feelings. Go with what feels right.

well i think you should talk to him and tell him how you feel and ask him out. if he likes you and feels the same way then thats awsome. so go for it !!!! he seems like he might like you so go ahead and ask him out!
