I'm a Gordon fan, and therefore I'm obligated to be a Hendrick fan and I'm enjoying the success right now. However, I'm also a realist and I realize that the success will not last forever. I know everyone (who is not a HMS fan) is tired of hearing about the domination, so who do think will step up and end it first?..or at least slow it down?

Please...no conspiracy theorists. I know NASCAR seems a little conspicuous at times with cautions and thier timing but we all must realize, as intelligent human beings, that there is no "rigging" in NASCAR. They wouldn't "rig" it for someone, whom 90% of all NASCAR fans hate, to win. He's just talented and caught breaks so far this year.

Well, David B., I know it's probably not the intelligent question your looking for, but it beats the "where will Jr end up?" or "who do you like/hate the most?" that fill up the screen. Give me credit, I tried.....

Great Question Matt! And I applaud your efforts!!!

I'm not a big fan, but I'll go with Kevin Harvick and RCR, so far they're the only teams showing they can come close.

Harvick had a great year last year and he looks promising this year too, so here's one for the Peanut Butter Boy

I don't see an end to the high level of performance that HMS has shown this year. The teams that will get up there with them the soonest are Gibbs, RCR and Rousch (with some of their drivers already there). One misconception is that Hendrick has been THAT dominant so far this year. Yes they are good and have great equipment but there has been a little luck on their side and some misfortune for other teams that has contributed to this appearance of being head and shoulders above the competition. Gibbs has had the best looking COT program so far and the downforce tracks have been won by RCR and Rousch drivers along with the HMS guys. Throughout the course of the season it will even out but Hendrick drivers will still be the ones to beat for the championship this year. It's no different than when Rousch looked like the dominant team 2 years ago and now they are in a down cycle. Best opportunity from Rousch is Kenseth, Burton from RCR and Hamlin from Gibbs.

After an offseason where everybody will br figuring out the COT, which is coming on fulltime next season, Hendrick's advantage is gonna disappear. I'm gonna flip a coin and say Joe Gibbs Racing. Stewart & Hamlin have been knocking on the door all year, but so far haven't been able to get in to Victory Lane. During the off-season, JGR will develop the battering ram Smoke & Denny will use to bash the sucker in, and you'll see these guys grabbing the checkered flag mroe often.

I think it will be Gibbs. They were going to win a few of the races ultimately won by Hendrick, but then bad luck got to them. Eventually though they'll get away from the bad luck and bring home some wins. I'm not a Gibbs fan, but if you look at how good they've been, I think that they're definitely a threat to the Hendrick domination.

i does no longer flow so a ways as to assert Hendrick's prevailing days are over. i'm no longer a Hendrick fan, yet i do no longer make calls like that on emotion. do not enable their no longer-so-warm starting off positions fool you. what number cases have you ever considered all 3 (i do not count number Mears) come decrease back from in the previous contained in the %. after some adjustments with the help of the race?? i might want to elect to work out the Childress vehicles do properly. He particular has the horsepower, yet I do in basic terms not imagine they have fairly gotten the manage on the COT yet. i might want to elect to work out Dale Jr do properly, and that i imagine he would have a actual shot this weekend. He qualified large and he's satisfied with his vehicle. no longer being impolite, yet in case you imagine that Gordon, Johnson or Busch in basic terms isn't up the front someplace, you elect to attend til later contained in the day to commence smokin that stuff.

I would have say the Joe Gibbs racing team. Denny Hamlin has had some great runs this season..if it wasn't for some mistakes by his pitcrew, he would of already had some wins this season including the race on Mother's Day... and now with a new pit crew he can probably get that win. Tony has done a great job as well..I think it will be one of them slowing down Hendrick's team...but am leaning more towards Denny doing it.

Joe Gibbs racing will end the domination. I think the driver to do it is Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin has had some of the better cars than Gordon, and Johnson, and been very close, but I think Tony Stewart has better racing ability, and is just more capable of closing the deal.

I would like to see any one of the Dodge teams break Hendrick's winning streak.....being an Evernham fan, it would be awesome if it happened, but with the luck Kahne, Sadler, and Riggs has had, I don't see it happening anytime soon :(
Another Dodge team that is on the rise is Penske, Newman "Rocketman" and Busch have done really well these past couple of weeks....so all I have to say is "Mopar or No Car" LOL....

More than likely it will come out of the RCR organization.
They are on an upswing right now and have three drivers that can win any week.
If I had to pick one, I would say Jeff Burton.
He is consistent to say the least, barring mechanical failures.
Denny Hamlin would be a good second choice, but not yet, as he hasn't fully paid his dues. He jumped right into good equipment and excelled. He has yet to see any real difficulties. Once he gets that behind him, like K Kahne is doing this year, he will be one of the next superstars.

Every race is gonna be won by RCR or Hendrick until MIS in Mid-June. Roush or Kahne will win there
