why do parents stop us from having long hair ?
why cant we boys have long hair ?
why only girls have silky and long hair?

Long hair makes woman beautiful. People'd mess up & think u as a woman if u have long hair. So, go ! listen to ur mamma & cut ur hair sweety boy.

I guess part of it has to do with the "looking like a girl thing". I have really long hair & I'm a guy... unfortunately, I get mistaken for a girl all the time. Use to bother me before, but after a while, you do get use to it. Another thing is that a lot of people stereotype guys with long hair as rebellious, criminals, etc...

Well, frankly , because Dads want their boys to look like men and not have a buddy comment about the hot blonde on the street and have to tell them , that's my son. If he's gay ,it's a compliment , but if the guys straight, then your dad feels insulted for you. Mom's want their son to look like their son, not like the daughter they never had, or already have. Some guys that are too masculine , to me look like they'd rather not be. Some that are to feminine looking to start with , might be considering a sex-change and are trying out the look. Then there are that few select ,that have a sleek model masculine face, smooth and boyish yet sensually masculine, long hair works for them, but hair at mid length suits them even better as it hangs as does long hair,and yet can be slicked back for that french, Parisian, evening look, yet with some highlights, look sweet on a surf board . The older a man gets , the shorter his hair should become as it tends to make him look younger. It makes young guys look younger too.

Grow it long, buudy, the girls adore it, trust me.
My hair was almost to the center of my back at one time, only problem is that it's curly also, so it frizzed up pretty good.
Anyway, I had long red hair w/ long curls hanging down and I got a lot of attention.
Just remember, it's hard to take care of properly and it requires lots of work!

If you are not in armed forces, there is no reason you should not be allowed to have long hairs. Its your body. As long as you keep your hair clean , tidy , and lice free nobody should have objection about how short or long you keep your hair.

short hair is starting to be further and extra of a fashion, yet there is no longer some thing more advantageous appealing than lengthy hair..your face also might want to dictate how sturdy you look with lengthy or short hair...overweight or thicker faces look more advantageous helpful with more advantageous hair, yet thinner faces with short hair can make human beings look too skinny. desire this opinion helps :)

Ummm. Most of the guys i know have hair as long as mine. and mine is sholder length. so sorry bout the parents. The are probably to uptight. <3

Guys compare to girls are more energetic and involve into outdoor activities more . To manage long hair is difficult .
