find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Jjogging is a great way to lose the weight. You want to do some form of cardio. Jogging, walking, eliptical, etc for at least 30 - 60 minutes 5 days a week. For the weights you want to lift not too heavy but not too light. Most people think that if they lift light it will cut them up and that is not correct. Lifting too light absolutely does nothing but add to the cardio a bit. You want to lift moderate weights and do 3 sets of 15 reps. Do 3 exercises for each body part rotating body parts. For example I do chest, tri's and shoulders one day...then back and bi's another, then legs another. Then start over. This will give your muscles time to heal and rebuild. You will not bulk up unless you do heavy weights with less reps.
Also, and most importantly is your eating habits. If you want to lose fat you need to watch your calorie intake...eat mostly chicken, turkey....stay away from fatty meats like pork and stake. Drink lots of water and be aware of sugar filled drinks and foods. Eat fresh cooked meals. No boxed meals or take out. Good Luck!
