I woke on Saturday morning with tingling and numbness in my left hand. I thought nothing of it- went to the kitchen to make coffee, and started feeling woosy, so I sat down. The tingling finally went away on Sunday afternoon, but I'm left still dizzy and with weaker muscles in both left arm and left leg. EKG, CT scan, and initial bloodwork came out fine. I still have the weakness and dizziness after 7 days now. What could this be?

I am no doctor but I have heard that some back/neck injuries can cause these sorts of symptoms you are mentioning. Do you remember if you have done anything to possibly hurt your back or neck? Sometimes it is hard to remember because we do things all the time we shouldn't like lifting incorrectly and back pain does not always occur the instant you do something. For example whiplash victims often feel the pain after a day or two. I would suggest trying to make an appointment with an Orthopedic. Also you may try seeing a Chiropractor they are usually pretty good at diagnosing these sort of strange things! However not everyone feels comfortable with chiropractic medicine. But one of these two types of doctors would be my recommendation to get to the bottom of your problem. Good Luck hope you feel better soon!

Most definately Vertigo. I have had it for several years now and it's always the same synptoms you are describing. It comes and goes as it pleases, but my doctor said some triggers are alcohol, and stress those are the biggest 2 and you need to rest. Rest is the only thing besides meds that will help. There is no cure, just meds to treat the symptoms of dizzines and vomiting.
Hope that helps!

This could be the start of Fibromyalgia. You certainly have all of the symptoms. I'm enclosing a link to an article I have written about Fibromyalgia. After you have read it, if you think you have this you need to see a doctor of rheumatology. Fibromyalgia cannot be detected through any medical tests. It is determined by eighteen different trigger points on the body. That's why you need the rheumatology doctor to see your body.
