find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)

A "so-called" killer diet is not what you need. Try cutting out the starch in your eating habits such as bread, pasta, rice, and potatoes. Eat fresh fruit and veggies. Only eat when your hungry not when your board and have nothing to do. Eat three meals a day and a small snack in between. The most important thing is to stay active. You can go on all the diets you can imagine but if you sit on your butt all day what is it going to do? Start off small like, instead of taking the elevator take the stairs. Get your heart rate going with some cardiovascular activity's. Do you like dancing? Maybe "when no one is home" put on some music that you can dance to and just go for it. Just because your not running or lifting weights doesn't mean that your not getting exercise. As long as you get your heart rate pumping for 10 to 15 mins your good as gold.

The best way in my opinion is to find new foods that are lower in calories, but you can still live with. If your diet is so strict, you will give up and go back to your old habits. I have been successful so far by eating smaller portions, more vegetables and fruits, beans and rice, chicken, etc. Also, I have been cutting desserts. You can visit www.calorie-count.com to help you keep track of your calories. If you combine this with daily excercise (run a mile or something simple), you will slowly but surely lose the weight. Good luck!

Here is the easiest way on the body:
Eat 6 small but balanced meals per day. Your carbs should be high in fiber, your proteins should be lean, and your fats should be sparing but high in the omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. Avoid greasy foods, alcohol, and candy.
Lift weights or perform power yoga. These are resistance exercises which will increase your lean mass and burn extra calories 24 hours per day. Also, some cardio helps.
Use a measuring tape instead of a scale to measure your progress because the measuring tape is more accurate.
Here is a sample meal plan and a sample workout:

if you do nothing else stop drinking soda and replace with water. you will easily loose several pounds. I have found that cutting out my excess carbs has helped me greatly. You don't have to do a low carb diet you just need to cut out all the excess and get back to a normally carb intake and with some light excersize you'll notice a difference in just a matter of a couple weeks. also eating smaller portions and not going back for seconds

Eat well and exercise and over the next several weeks you will lose weight....crash dieting wll also make you lose weight but what you will be losing is WATER from your body...the fats still stays. Losing weight is a prolonged program where a weight loss of 1kg (2lbs) per week is acceptable
Anything you read in the magazines or hear from ur 'girlfriends' is utter rubbish and should be dispelled immediatley

I've been doing weight watchers and it works well for me. Is much better than any "fad diet" as it basically is a lifestyle...teaches you how to eat and excercise right and there are NO forbidden foods so you don't feel deprived, you simply account for the foods you eat so if you want a goodie now and then you can have it.

Run or walk at least 5 miles a day get your metabolism going. Do something active the more active you are the more healthy you are going to want to eat. Find a good forest preserve or somewhere enjoyable to walk. Great stress reliever too. Good Luck

A relatively easy way to lose weight:
1) If you normally drink regular soda, switch to diet or water
2) If you like fast food, switch to Subway.
3) No deep fried foods including fries, chips, KFC
And do walk a bit

Start walking everyday for 1 hour... but not slow walking, but a quick pace, almost run. Don't try running at first, because it will only wear you out sooner. But with some time you can start it. Try not eating junk food, and incluse salad in your meals. Whenever you feel hungry eat something, never wait too long for a meal, because if you do you'll only eat much more.
