I have been trying to shed a few inches, blood pressure, & cholesterol for about the last 5 years. I've finally gotten the diet down, & some jogging & weight lifting. I'm a healthy eating finatic, but I'm still lazy at heart.
I'd like to hear any success stories - without weightloss drugs or surgeries. If you have been able to get in shape without those things & without working out 2 hours a day, it would help motivate me.

Forget the cleansing stuff-

I have never had to lose beacuse I found a natural way of eating and living.

Just be normal- I eat normally, a variety of foods all day, (if I have a weakness for fast food its Long John Silver's fish!) I eat small frequent meals. I started dance lessons at 2 years of age (yes I have been dancing for over 50 years) and haven't quit dancing since. I do ballet for flexibility, and fast tap for aerobics. I do some mild weight bearing exercise. Never is it 2 hours- I just found an activity that was fun for me that I can feel a sense of accomplishment with.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

i followed this (still do) and lost about 40lbs - more than that of fat because i have gained a lot of muscle and im in the best shape ever.

I got the book "Ultrametabolism" by Dr. Mark Hyman. I lost 50 pounds just by changing my eating habits like he talks about in his book. I recommend it very highly!
