I don't see them fighting again. The reason being that both fighters' egoes would not allow it when it comes to deciding on a purse. Jones at one time wanted 60-40, but Hopkins wanted 50-50. Jones felt he deserve more simply because he defeated Hopkins once, which you could make a case for that. Hopkins on the other hand has had better success over the last few years than Jones, which makes Hopkins feel that he is worth 50-50 or even 60-40, now........ and feels he has the bargaining power. You could make a case for Hopkins on that note, too.

Though Jones probably need the fight more than Hopkins, I can't see him taking an even split with Hopkins. If by some miracle both men meet again, I would probably pick Hopkins over Jones by decision in a lackluster fight.

Unlikely, but if they did, the blogbaba would have to take Hopkins in the rematch. Jones is a shell of his former self and Hopkins has a victory over Tarver, the man who shattered Roy Jones Jr's confidence. Father Time caught up to Roy while he was in the path of a Tarver left hook, and never looked back. Just like that Roy was a memory. Hopkins on the other hand is still a force in boxing.

i dont think so! the only way I see them fighting is if Roy wins his fight and Hopkins beats wright. in this case Roy would be back and so would Hopkins. Roys opponent has Mayweather Sr. training him so hes very prepared for this fight. Also wright will give hopkins a very difficult night with his deffense and his jab. hopkins vs. Roy. the only way I see this fight happening that if one loses there bout i see the other showing pitty and giving the other a match. THEY MUST BOTH WIN THEIR UPCOMING BOUTS. AND I THINK HOPKINS WOULD WIN THE REMATCH

I'm from Pensacola,FL and rumor has it, that after Roy wins his upcoming fight in Biloxi on July 14th that they will fight and both retire after the fight. I'd love to see that happen. They both have been great for boxing. Also, I know for a fact that Jermain Taylor and Roy Jones want to fight, but we all know how Roy is and is demanding a 50/50 purse. So we'll see how that turns out...

Yeah i could see that happening if both win their up coming fights. If it happens i see Hopkins winning on points this time arouned. As he will have the added incentive of trying to avenge his previous loss to Jones, and despite being the older fighter his skills dont seem to have diminised too much where Jones unfortunately seems to be a shell of his former self.
