I would want it to be less religious but still have some. I mean I am an atheist but I feel that some people need religion to survive. It is what helps them through the hard times. I do wish the world to be a little less though. I feel that maybe less religion may help to stop some wars and settle at least a few religious differences. I fear that if the world is any more religious that it may never know the end of conflict.

More Spiritual, but less religious. It would be wonderful if everyone could have an experience that enlightened them with Truth. If that happened, everyone would realize our Oneness with each other, and we would have no more war, no more murder, no more violence. And it would then be possible to enter a New Era of Reality...

But religion certainly doesn't always, or even often, lead to such awareness. Some religions (most?) distract us from this knowledge and this search for Truth, and simply demand obedience without question. This in turn leads to a REDUCTION in our spirituality, which is unfortunate.

Religions should step back and really LOOK at themselves and what they are promoting, and be willing to make changes when they see discrepancies b/t their way and The Way. But I'm not gonna hold my breath on that...

Peace.

What do you mean by "religious"? If you mean tribal and identifying with a certain church, then no. I am a very religious person in the sense that I believe in truth, an ultimate truth that mankind cannot even conceive of. I believe in doing unto others as I would have them do unto me. I believe there is a lot of truth to be found in the Bible, but it is not flawless. It was written by humans, and humans are not perfect, so they can't create something that is perfect. I believe in the message, not the messenger. So in that sense I think people should be more religious. They should seek for truth, but be humble about it. You cannot force others to do the right thing. It is something everyone must choose for themselves. That is my religion.

I'm not religious. I'm a blood bought, spirit-filled christian. There is an eternal difference between one who is religious and one who is saved. A religious person may know God's Word in their " head." But a saved christian, too, knows God's Word in their head, but even more in their heart. Without that changed heart, you will never obtain Eternal life in Christ.

what do all religions strive for? to be closer to God. how do they do this? by being the the best person they can be for themselves and others.

weather you are religious or not, why wouldn't you want a world who strives to be kinder and more loving regardless of how they go about motivating themselves to do so.

this doesn't mean that people who are not religious have to abide by the rules of the worlds religion, but it would be nice to coincide with people who strive for peace.

Less religious please.

There is far too much violence perpetrated in the name of religion. I am not so naive as to think that if you take away religion all violence would disappear, but doing so would at least make our disagreements based in the real world. It's too difficult to reconcile conflicts whose causes are supernatural.

I've heard it said that more people have dead in the name of God then for any other reason. Therefore, I'd say less religious. Not killing is a good thing.
