What are your opinions on them? have you had positive/negative experiences with them? No people with positive/negative experiences with them? Should they be legal? for spiritual use? for recreational use? strictly for organized religions? not at all? is it the government's business to regulate them? any thing else?

I've done them a few times for spiritual/recreational use, I find to be a very powerful mind opening drug, that help you understand 'things' better.

Love em. They open your mind to so much. I think they should be open to all them and weed should have no regulations. The government will never make earthier of this legal. They open your mind and let you think for yourself the government doesn't like that they want your mind closed and focused on them so you could "live" life the way they want you to. They want you to go to work everyday and pay taxes they don't care about fun at all. I always said give me mushrooms weed and a beautiful day and I would take it over any amount of money ever.

The active ingredient is a posion that attacks the kidneys. I've known a few people who have had severe kidney problems from overuse.

When I was young and stupid, I was lucky and didn't have any such problems.

During a mis-guided era in my youth, I saw lots of potentially good people fall by the wayside because of drugs.

My best friend of many years died of heart failure because of cocaine.

Drugs don't open your mind, they distort your perception of reality.

I'm very lucky to have through unscathed. I hope my kids don't feel the need to play the Russian roulette with drugs that I did.

Should they be legal?

Drugs should be seen as a health issue, and a major one at that.

Criminality just makes things worse and fills jails with people who need help.

I have done them and they are fun and all, but if you are using them for "spiritual" purposes and to understand 'things" better, then I would say that you are a bit misguided. They are a mind altering drug, they do not help you understand anything better then when you are not under the influence. Take em and have a nice trip and enjoy the visuals, but if you are looking for God or the meaning to life in a mushroom, you are way off base here.

Tried them once in Bali after friends told me of their hallucinations. We had designated minders to keep us safe from ourselves. Did nothing for me except make an interesting bowel movement the next day. One girl I was with vomited non stop for hours, the other went temporarily blind. Yeah, good stuff, magic mushrooms.

When I saw my friend huddled in a corner crying about how demons were coming to get him...I don't think that helped him understand anything

it was pretty hilarious though

bad trips are fun

anexperience with them can be good or traumatic depending on alot of factors, it always shows a reflection of yourself, recreation probly isn't the right way to approach them, they should only be used by mature responsible people who know what they're doing.
