Maybe it the poping of the lid that you can't stop, You just have to keep putting in on and poping it off!

So you can make the popping noise by continually opening and closing the lid again and again.

Two reasons. 1)so you can keep them fresh(i suppose this is what most lids are for, right?) and 2)so you don't say random quotes and sayings, like "ALLYOURBASEAREBELONGTOUS" and "Your head asplode" and "LOLWTFOMGBBQM8"
