What type of job? Typically you want to present yourself as you (with maybe a little 'tweaking'). Make sure you are wearing non-revealing clothing. Sit up straight at the interview. LISTEN to the question prior to blurting out an answer. If you don't understand the question, please say, I'm sorry would you repeat that? Know something about the company itself prior to going in. Do NOT say - YEAH, or UHM or LIKE......GOOD LUCK!!!! IF you want to give me more detail I'll help more, just e-mail me.

Dress in the nicest clothes you have---skirt and top, nothing revealing, if you have a nice black suit-like jacket, wear that, too.

Look the interviewer in the eye when speaking to them, shake hands firmly. Bring a notebook, and a few written questions to ask---never leave an interview without asking a question! It shows you really are interested in the job.

Bring a resume if you have one, or a list of past-jobs and phone numbers for ex-employers if not. Make sure you know what position you're interviewing for, and what past experiences you have that would make you a good person for that job, specifically.

After the interview, if you aren't told right away that you're hired, send a "thank you" note to the person who interviewed you. This is a dying trend, but it can cement you in the interviewer's mind as a good candidate! Even if the job is for a retail position, there's no harm in doing things like this.

Good luck!

I'm 18, passed several interviews... be confident even if you are not... always emphasize you wanna work for the good of the company not yours alone... rate yourself 1-10?tell them 9 because you consider yourself very much qualified for the job yet there's still room for improvement... give a firm handshake and never lose eye contact. Wear smart clothes... Why should they hire you not the others? What's your strength and weakness? How should you describe yourself... prepare answers for possible questions... But everything's gonna be useless without PRESENCE OF MIND

The objective of an interview is to convince the employer that you will be able to fulfill the organizational needs and fit into the company culture. You can find a lot of info on preparing for interviews at http://www.precv.com

Dress nicely, have a nice appearance, don't chew gum or do anything that might be considered disrespectful. Speak clearly, convey enthusiasm and knowledge about the job.

Present yourself in person, wearing what clothes you think they would like to see you in. IT is your choice and what you chose will help them evaluate you as a candidate.
