Unfortunately beer doesn't age well. No beer should be consumed that is four months or older. Beer older than that should be used for garden fertilizer. Believe it or not, beer is a good fertilizer. It breaks down the soil. .

Assuming you're not meaning an open bottle, most all beers will last at least 8 months to a year without any serious degradation in quality. Having said that, though, some beers are more suseptible than others in the fridge. "Low end" beers, like Bud, Miller, Coors, etc. ... will be fine for a year, while some "top shelf" beer, like 750ml bottles of Belgian ale, typically capped and corked, shouldn't be refrigerated long, if at all.

Some say condensation can build up inside a bottle over time, diluting the flavor. As a rule of thumb, though, you don't have to worry about this if you drink an unopened beer within a year.

Hope this helps!

To the best of my knowlage as lond as is kept at a constant temp. I don't think beer has a shelf life. It will tase like ten year old beer if kept for ten years but it should still be ok to drink.

In the case of canned or bottled beer as long as the seal isn't compromised it can be kept for quite a while, beer can get stale but that's if it is kept at room temp.

No beer in my fridge lasts longer than a few months anyway.
