We have our own canoe and do not need a rental. We just need some good trails where canoeing is permitted. We live in the Morristown area.

The coolest place is down in Chatsworth, in the Pine Barrens. They will take you & your canoe to the drop-off point and pick you up at the end. You'll love it. During the week it's less crowded -- just FYI.

It's probably boring, (I do not canoe) but it will be peaceful. Try the Delaware and Raritan Canal in central NJ. Also great bike riding in the area.

Pine barrens is a great trip. You will really enjoy it but traffic on the GSP may be crazy this weekend.
