After doing much research myself.
After studying with Methodists, Mormons (LDS), Witnesses and comparing many translations of the Scriptures and after dealing with many people that obviously are more interested in 'establishing their own righteousness' [Romans 10:2-3] than seeking and searching for the truth [the very knowledge of God] that King Solomon recommended [Proverbs 2:1-5(Darby Translation)] I have come to find that the choice I made to dedicate my life to doing Jehovah God's will has been my best choice in life.
I don't have to defend the Watchtower Society. They can defend themselves, but the facts are facts that they have been a tool the True God has use mightily in saying as he did in the Hebrew Scriptures to his faithful prechristian Witnesses:
Isaiah 43:10 (Darby Translation)
10Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] HE: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Isaiah 43:10 (Young's Literal Translation)
10Ye [are] My witnesses, an affirmation of Jehovah, And My servant whom I have chosen, So that ye know and give credence to Me, And understand that I [am] He, Before Me there was no God formed, And after Me there is none.
Isaiah 43:10 (American Standard Version)
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
There are very close to 7 million volunteers holding over 5.5 million free Bible studies around the world on a weekly basis.
There are no Paid Clergy class:
YOU received free, give free. -Matthew 10:8
But most off all, if you take the time to pay attention this organization has pulled the mask off off false religious teachings for decade after decade. Period.
"“Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; 18 a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men]." -Matthew 7:15-20

The Watchtower society is of the Jehovah Witnesses. There are many things we can find about them on the internet. But this question needs an answer. I strongly believe that they don't shine the light on the bible. The Holy Spirit of Jehovah does that. They do have good things but they have bad things also. So if truth is mixed with error then for those who drink it will have stomach pains later.
Errors eg:- That Jesus is a created being according to THEIR interpretation of the holy scriptures, that the earth is more than 6000 years(approx.) old, that the "Trinity" (not a term used in the bible) doesn't exist, that only 144000 go to heaven and the "little flock" stay here, that Jesus has appeared "invisibly" in 1914 and since then he is rulng the world etc.. to name just a few of their wrong doctrines and other teachings like one can drink wine and other alcohol but not get drunk and no transfusion of blood and salvation of works etc...
They do have truth Egs: that there is no hell right now, that a person sleeps when he is dead, that paradise will be on earth made new, that we shouldn't go to war.
But this doesn't make them shining lights since they mix error and truth togther but they say they don't. I wish that they wake up and see the light some day.

Just the opposite, they are covering it with darkness. In the New World Translation (Watchtower translation for Jehovah Witnesses) the passages in both the New and Old Testament are purposely mistranslated.
I am going to give simple examples. You can double check this yourself using a simple concordance to look up the Hebrew or the Greek.
The New World Translation renders Genesis 1:2 as follows...
"...and God’s active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters."
The word "active force" is ruach in the Hebrew. The same word is used in Genesis 41:8 & 38. Here is the New World Translation rendering of these two passages.
"And it developed in the morning that his [Pharaoh's] spirit became agitated."
"Can another man be found like this one [Joseph] in whom the spirit of God is?"
In one scripture, referring to God, it renders ruach as "active force". Yet when we see it elsewhere in the same translation, the meaning changes. Why? Because the "Watchtower Tract and Bible Society" has an agenda. All evidence and text relating to the Holy Spirit being attributed to God cannot remain in the text, the text must then be changed. The Bible must change the church, not the church change the Bible! This is a perfect example.
Now, here are the same scriptures in the King James Version...
"And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."
"And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled"
"Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?"
Can you see? The New World Translation changed the meaning of ruach to conform to the Watchtower agenda. This, they arrogantly proclaim as a very accurate translation from the Hebrew. Well, you can say whatever you want, but a simple Concordance will prove otherwise.
______________________
Here is another, more blatant, example. In Revelation 1:8, we see an addition made to the text.
Rev 1:8 [NWT] - “I am the Al´pha and the O·me´ga,” says Jehovah God, “the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty.”
"Lord" is purposely mistranslated. The Greek kuvrio means "supreme ruler" and is not the name Jehovah or YHWH. This same word for "Lord" is used in referring to Jesus in many passages. Using the NWT rendering of "Lord" in the verse above, let's translate the same Greek word used in Matthew 12:8, (Jesus speaking) "For the Son of man is Jehovah God even of the sabbath day."
So, either the New World Translation is lying to suit their doctrine, or Jesus is Jehovah according to their own translation. This blatantly reveals the agenda of the Watchtower organization. They have added to Revelation and thus put themselves under the condemnation of Revelation 22:18.
Now let us look at Revelation 22:13...
Rev 22:13 [NWT] - "Look! I am coming quickly, and the reward I give is with me, to render to each one as his work is. I am the Al´pha and the O·me´ga, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
Who is He that is coming quickly? According to Revelation 22:20, it is the Lord Jesus. What is the reward? It is our inheritance from the Lord Christ as stated in Colossians 3:24. If this is Jehovah speaking, it would be a contradiction, or that Jesus is God (which violates their doctrine).
The Jehovah Witnesses say they trust the King James Version translation of the original text. Let's do a comparison of the New World Translation of Revelation 1:11 with the King James Version.
Rev 1:11 [KJV] - saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia...
Rev 1:11 [NWT] - saying: “What you see write in a scroll and send it to the seven congregations...
Because it is obvious that Jesus is speaking in Rev 1:11, the New World Translation favors the Latin Vulgate in omitting this identification. This has been disputed, however, it should prove that the Jehovah Witnesses are not in agreement with the King James Version.
______________________
Numbers 21:5 - 6 details how Jehovah was tested by the Israelites grumbling and how He subsequently sent serpents among them as chastisement.
Numbers 21:5-6 (NWT)
And the people kept speaking against God and Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread and no water, and our soul has come to abhor the contemptible bread.” So Jehovah sent poisonous serpents among the people, and they kept biting the people, so that many people of Israel died.
Paul, in 1 Corinthians 10:9, relates to this incident. However, citing the example of God's discipline of the Israelites...
[KJV] Neither let us tempt Christ (gr. Christos), as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
[NWT] Neither let us put Jehovah (purposely mistranslated) to the test, as some of them put [him] to the test, only to perish by the serpents.
So why did the Watchtower purposely mis-translate this text? Because the Watchtower group does not want any reference to Christ being Jehovah God of the Old Testament. Again, the Bible should change the church, not the other way around.

Yes, they have dedicated their lives to the study of the bible and finding the truth of the bible. Not doctrines and traditions of men, but God's thoughts. Matt: 15: 8 & 9 "This people honors me with their lips, yet their heart is far removed from me. It is in vain that they keep worshiping me, because they teach commands of men as doctrines."
How many religious leaders know that there is not a burning hell. The prior pope admitted it, I saw preachers on the news in California admit it, but do they change their teachings to go along with the bible? No, they continue to tickle peoples ears, teaching pagan doctrines to scare them into serving God. Do people do the research themselves? No! For some reason, they want to believe that bad people burn in hell??? The same goes for the Trinity doctrine and immortality doctrine...look up the history of where these doctrines came from...it was not the bible!
What other organization main goal is the preaching work in fulfillment Jesus prophesy about the Good News? Matt 24: 14 "This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." Jehovah's Witnesses are in 236 lands with close to 7 million active members. There are close to 100,000 congregations worldwide.
Jehovah is an organized God. He has always had representives on earth. The Israelites were his people, the early Christians, faithful ones through out history. 1 Cor. 14:40 "Let all things take place decently and by arrangement."
There is only one truth in the bible. Everyone can't be right. It is each individuals responsibility to find that truth.
Eph 4: 5 & 6 "one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all persons.."
John 17: 3 "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent forth Jesus Christ."

One of the answers here said that there are many things that you can read about Jehovahs witnesses on the internet. That may be true but it doesnt mean that everything you read or see is true does it? I mean there are sites that claim Elvis is still alive & working in a factory but c'mon it isnt true.
I've read some of the JW magazines & booklets & think that they do shed light on the bible as they always have scriptures in them and I look them up sometimes too. So I would say yes to the question.
There are clearly a lot of haters on here that are more interested in putting other people down than finding out about God. I feel sorry for them

It certainly is, when you see how many are against the watchtower society, this shows that it it is doing things right, I mean, think about it Jesus was persecuted, ridiculed, called a false prophet, said to be a Blasphemer, and even spat upon. Yet he is the son of God,he also told his followers:"Bear in mind the word I said to you,a slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also"....(John15:20) I have bneen to other places and churches, and there has been none that stacks up.

The Watchtower Society is a tool of the devil used to deceive thousands every year. They pose as a Christian organization but are twisted inside to the core, just like the Mormons, and Masons.

Most of the answers will be no. Why?
Because people are lazy and don't want to follow Jesus commandments.
Mat 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
1Cr 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
Who else but JWs follow EXACTLY Jesus words in the bible? No one.

Yes! In my opinion. I for one have enjoyed the company of many honest hearted wonderful people who have come to my aid when needed.
We are a loving people who just want the chance to help others, and do when there is a need. Our publications constantly talk about the good done to others in all walks of life. Floods don't stop God's work. Individuals are constantly giving to those in need.
Brothers have chopped wood for people in the cold.
Sisters have brought food to those hungry who had nothing.
And all these were found because of our door to door work.
Hate us if you wish, but that just makes us stronger and because Jesus told us you would, it proves we are doing his will as Jehovah told him to.
Blessed are my brothers and sisters for doing his will, and may the light get bright enough for all to see the truth!
