You claim to hate all religion and yet you come to a place, the one place on yahoo answers where you will be exposed.

I dont get it. Help me out here?

This is where they get their much wanted education. Then show their lack of education by rambling on, I don't get it either the last time I checked what they do believe in has nothing to do with religion or spirituality. All they do is poke fun at what we do believe and when someone asks a legitimate question all they can say is there is no God, all creepy, crawlies just evolved, and start the thumb patrol. Go figure.

By the way if they were spiritual that would mean that some spirit is leading them.

Are you suggesting that one has to believe in an imaginary concept to be interested in discussing the disease of the human psyche that is religion?

This question has been asked so many times, we have answered it so many times. You are either new here or have not been paying attention. Which?

Exposed? What on earth can you mean? I can't be exposed as I am up-front. I am an atheist and extremely proud to be able to say that. I am not ridiculed as religious folk are. Quite the opposite.

Wait - there's something seriously wrong here. You say that 'we' HATE all religion. Where did you get that idea from? Athists don't hate anything much at all. It's not the religion, it's the followers that are the problem. We don't hate them either. Thus, your claim ithat our claim is such is a false claim.

God is imaginary. A man-made invention as have all gods and goddesses in man's history have been. This one is no different but the whole idea has you convinced. realise that just because it is a good idea that we will have an after-life of some sort doesn't actually make it true. It's just a good idea and that's all. Reality beckons but you are ignoring the call. Fantasy-land a better option?

I come here to wait for the questioners that ask about evolution, but seem to have no grasp on what evolution truly is.

I love the "if we came from monkeys" questions, I just can't help myself.

I just express my beliefs on a few questions here and there in between the monkey questions, helps get the points up and I enjoy expressing myself.

I'm sorry, but you misunderstood my answer. I answer the OTHER evolution questions that are placed in the R+S section. Yes, I do think they should go to the Science section though, but since they ask the questions here I post the answers you see.

They will not admit it but those who hate religion come here to be obstructionists. Their aim is to control the debate on R&S.

We try to ignore them, but we spend more time answering their dumb little questions than we do helping those who already believe but have struggles with understanding.

It is the same kind of trick used in politics, if you don't have a platform that is popular to the majority of people, you spend your time trashing the individual you are running against.

For those who talk about hating people who tell them they are going to hell.
Most Christians don't say you are going to hell, they just quote the Bible and let you decide if the shoe fits.
Satan hates to hear the Bible quoted.

Regarding Dharmanator, if you believe there is no god, you are Atheist.
If you claim to be Agnostic, you are not sure if there is a god or not.
Since all the evidence is not in, you cannot be sure.

I come to defend my view that there is no god. I'm an agnostic apologetic. I hope to get the message across and save believers from an empty life (and lie) away from reality.

I care that believers are wasting their lives making appeals to something that isn't real. In doing this, they are missing out on the chance to face the world squarely and say "I did this". The subjugation of self that believers put themselves through for nothing is also distasteful to me.

These are just a few of the reasons I feel it is my moral duty to save believers.

I don't hate religion. I don't hate you. I don't hate in general. Hate is an extreme and negative word.

I come here because I'm spiritual. I don't come here to be told I'm wrong. I come here to learn how others believe. To get an understanding of how they tick, so to speak. I'm not exposed either, I have on clothes. :-p

Why do you feel it necessary not to understand what others are trying to help you understand?

they just like starting arguments to try and make themselves feel better....not to mention try and convince THEMSELVES that Christians are wrong and being a Wicca or Atheist is better......i feel bad for them.



What gets me is how they come on here rant and rave about how bad Christianity is and blah blah blah, and then get mad when we point out ways that they are wrong....slight double standard here?
