haha, i feel the same way

i have a puppy and he loves to make new paths and hideouts through the yard, around the trees, under the bushes.. etc.

he runs so fast that he just digs it right up with his paws.

I would recommend blocking off the old path if possible. I did this infront of a few of my bushes and it stopped him from going under.

walk around the yard with her, calling her, and making sure to lead her in other paths. Throw toys in different areas that she doesn't usually walk in.

Or you could try using a lead or leash and walk her around the yard.

Probably the best one yet-- put something of interest in other areas of the yard. A toy, a waterdish, treat, etc.

I hope this helps!

Your dog needs more exercise. Take him for a walk at least three times a week, for at least 30 minutes at a time. He'll stop pacing the yard if he can burn his energy in a good walk. It will help you keep in shape too!

My dog used to do this too we planted high traffic grass and it has helped but we still have bare spots
you could put those big stepping stones down and make it look nice.
We don't care that much about the bare spots though

You could put backyard items such as plants, lawn chairs, tables, etc. in her normal path, so that you block it. She will be forced to make a new path.

This is normal tehy will do this. YOu need to get a kennel or you can train her to one area. My dogs are trained to soil only in one part of the yard.
