I am certain we did land on the moon. I have heard tons of the "evidence" that we didn't land on the moon and it boils down to conjecture based on "phony camera angles" etc in the photos and video from the moon.
If they didn't go to the moon then where did the rocket and astronauts go?
Also, of all the conspiracy theories in American culture I find this one to be one of the very least plausible. The only things we even remotely had to gain from this is "beating the space race" with the USSR, which I find to be a pretty lame reason. Furthermore, I have experience auditing in the federal gov't and can tell you that there would have to literally hundreds of people who would have to "in on this" for it to have happened.
I understand that it makes people feel special to learn about supposed conspiracies, and you feel like you know a secret that many people should know but you may want to try thinking about it from other angles before making a decision.
I do firmly believe that there is other life in the universe (NASA even found the beginnings of life in microorganisms on Mars) However, I don't think that the gov't is having some sort of secret dialogue and exchange of technology with them.

trackgirl, you've been talking to Rosie O'Donnell again haven't you?
The Apollo 11 mission fulfilled President John F. Kennedy's goal of "landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the Earth by the time this decade is out," in other words by the end of the 1960s. Many consider the landing one of the defining moments of the 20th century.
Believe it!
If you prefer to doubt that we really did land our Astronauts on the moon on July 20, 1969 and that Buzz Armstrong didn't speak the words "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" as he stepped onto the moon's surface, then you can continue living in your fantasy world by renting the movie "Capricorn One" which only serves to proliferate this false claim and rumor started by the conspiracy theorist pinhead sheep herded by the likes and mindsets of the Rosie O'Donnell's of the world.

There's an urban legend that it was filmed in a studio because of things that appeared in the coverage of the event. With today's technology, it's very easy to make things look like something they're not. Otherwise, this rumor would have come out 36 years ago if they could have manipulated the film better with special effects.

So bottom line man did land on the moon.
But NASCAR has not scheduled any races there yet.

Yes, the Russians could also track our radio messages to and from the moon. They would have known if the sigfnals were not actually coming from the moon, and I doubt they would let the US get away with faking that. thank what a propoganda tool that would have been for them, to show the world we were fakes.
It happened.

I think that we did land on the moon, because we have alot of other programs going on that are proven.
Im certain that the video isn't real, it was probably done on earth becuase it would be really awkward to fit loads of massive filming equiptment on a tiny shuttle....

I say yes. If we did not then me and all the millions of people who were paid in the aerospace government programs that had earned one dollar for their involvement would've been audited by now by the IRS.
