We are saved by grace not by meeting a quota.

We just want you to have a chance at the same happiness and hope we have. Is sharing happiness a crime?

Why would anyone take the time to tell you about Muhammad, unless they cared about you, and wanted you to know the truth. They too are saved by grace not by meeting some quota. They just want you to have a chance at the same happiness and hope they have. Sharing their happiness is not a crime either.

Prosletizing and attempting conversion of others to your way of thinking is mean spirited and selfish. The reason people want to take the time to tell you about anything at all is because they wish to sway you to their belief system. Happiness for themselves at having succeeded is what is important to these folks, not happiness for the poor person that gets stuck listening to the claptrap. Now to Jesus. He was a marvelous man and very devout in his own way, but he was a man. People who want to tell others about Jesus have been taught by their version of belief system that this is an admirable and necessary thing to do. Well, got some news for you. You would not be receptive to it if I tried to convert you to Buddhism or Shintoism or the Moslem faith, and some people likewise are not receptive to your attempts to convert them. My question to you is: Why can't you understand so simple a concept as "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". It is your own concept, but if someone else tells you about an Ancient Religion dating back far further than the birth and death of your Jesus and the religions this founded, you become offended and scream that it is devil worship. Another flash: ONLY CHRISTIANS BELIEVE IN SATAN. No other religion or spiritual belief in the world has this belief. We all know that evil exists within man, as does good. We don't believe in Satan or Devil worship because the entity does not exist. Well, I really don't know why I wrote all this, because the "asker" may read it, but it won't change their understanding. They will still think that everyone should wish to be converted to Christianity.

It's a quota. When you say we are told to go out and spread the word it's a quota. Call it what you want. Most of the time it is not wanted yet you insist you have the right to do it.

Paint it with whatever brush you wish. It is nothing more than interfering with another persons spiritual path. BTW I am very happy with my belief. I will not go to hell. I will be back and at some point I will return and be one with Spirit.

Well with that I would like to share with you Jesus did not die for our sins
Jesus was Crucified for being a Spiritual Teacher and the Catholic Church had to shut up his Teachings so they could take back control of the People and then create the fear of telling people he died for our sins wow what a load of crock : )

Because their church told them to. When I was a christian (C of E) we were taught that only a few were called to be an evangelist. For some reason there's a difference of opinion in America, where ALL churchgoers seem to be told to proselytyse.

As for the sharing happiness; I've had 'christian happiness' shared with me hundreds of times, and I think this is probably true of most other people too. The message has been well and truly spread already. We do not need to hear it for the 608th time.

Matthew 25.
41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'

44 "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'

45 "He will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'

There is that possibility there. Don't put people down for noticing it!

Also, in the previous chapter,
Matthew 24:23 At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Messiah!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

26 "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the wilderness,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.

If I was to assume that my mothers or fathers actions would save me, I wouldnt advance one bit in my own personal improvement now would I? Because for one, I wouldnt even make the effort to try to change myself and my bad habits, because Id know for a fact that by trusting them, Id be safe anyhow.

Im a firm believer in personal responsibililty, which is why being saved by grace is really against my common sense. And am sure am not the only one out there.

This however does not mean that God will not love me out of His grace. For one thing thats how I will find complete salvation from hell fire, but God will show me His grace, because I have showed Him devotion by doing good things on this planet. Not by simply believing in Him.

Believe it or not, faith isnt the only thing God is interested in.

He wants us to show our faith by doing good deeds. And without which both are perhaps very useless.

How would you feel if someone who really cared for you, but was into masochism, insisted on sharing the source of his happiness with you? Wouldn't you like it if he would take no for an answer?

Why would anyone take the time to explain to you about atheistic thought, unless they cared about you, and wanted you to know?
Whether you function on a quota system or not, religion is a delusional pattern of thought.

Sharing happiness is not a crime. So you believe that the Harri Krishna's are so right to be at airports.
