I heard it is orange juice and champagne, but what amounts? Equal? I also heard it has a touch of grenadine in it.

The Best one i had also had Grand marnier

3.0 oz Champagne
1.0 dash Grand Marnier
3.0 oz Orange juice

Directions: Pour orange juice into a large chilled wine glass. Slowly pour in the champagne, stirring gently. Top with a dash of Grand Marnier.

I've also done it with Grand Marinier as a previous answer suggested. I would go wit that. If you don't use a bit of liquor I like to not do a 50/50 mix. I like 3 oz of sparkling wine with 2oz of orange Juice. Plus, don't use champagne to make these. A descent sparkling wine from California is perfectly fine.

We mix ours as half champagne and half OJ. No reason to complicate a beautiful, simple drink. To make a larger batch you just mix a bottle of champagne/sparkling wine (I like Cristallino) with 1 quart of OJ.

It is mainly to taste. I like it half and half. I don't care for the grenadine in it, but if you want it, just put in a small amount.
