If you have heard the gospel, and understood it's truths, and it has dealt with you in your heart and mind, and you reject it. How can you deem it unfair for God to answer your rejection of His sacrifice with the rejection of your entrance to Heaven?
Remember I did say, if you heard the gospel, and it dealt with you, only you can know that. How is it unfair if you reject the grace of God, that God will in turn reject your salvation??

Chance---I do not agree with you, but that is a very witty answer. I got a good laugh out of that.

Most people have it backwards. Their soul was automatically going to hell. Humanity was already condemned. God decided to make Jesus a substitutionary sacrifice for all mankind. Before God intervened, there was no choice. Only hell. People don't realize that God's gift of salvation is a free pass. But even free passes have to be accepted before we can use them. They think God gave them an ultimatum. But He actually gave them a way out of a terrible predicament.

Let me explain it to you THIS way, using YOUR example. If I were horny on the street and am denied by an ugly person, yes I would be upset. But what I would NOT do, and neither would ANY reasonable person, is decide to hold that against EVERYONE for thousands of years, use it as a reason to torture, kill, and abuse everyone that exists, all for the 'sin' of one or two people. God is supposed to be forgiveness, but the Bible has shown that He is in NO way like that. In human terms, God WAY over-reacts to a slight indescretion. As for the idea of sending His son to us, WHY is it that there was no other way? If He is so powerful, then WHY? He could have done it however He wanted. His 'solution' was to torture his own SON, for goodness sake. That DOESN'T sound like a loving God to me!

Friend, as a Christian for over 37 yrs. I also believe if we reject God, Why should he let anyone into heaven, But you do need to re-phrase your question, You say if we reject God's grace he will reject our salvation, Friend if anyone has salvation then it had to come through his grace, You can not have salvation unless it comes through his grace & mercy, So anyone that does have true salvation, also has his grace.

Never claimed that it was unfair. Truth be told, if I find out at the end that I'm wrong, I might be a bit grumpy about God's presentation (let's face it, there's a *lot* of issues in the church, in the Bible, and how it's all presented), but that's about it.
I have my reasons for not forming a relationship with God - my moral standards call for me to not form a bond with someone who has done what he is reputed to have done. ::shrugs:: If I catch hell for that (literally or figuratively), then I'll just have to deal with that.

You are right I reject any gods. Hence all gods can reject me. It only seems fair to me "tit for tat". The only small detail is; I am a real being, gods are imaginary beings.
Aint skared of imaginary gods.

Have you heard of "the punishment doesn't fit the crime"?
First God hides from everyone, so that there's not a shred of evidence of his existence, outside the rantings of zealots. Then God punishes people for using their common sense and saying that God doesn't exist. If you call that fair, then you have a twisted sense of justice.
Sorry, but the God character in the Bible is a vicious bi-polar tyrant.
It's a good thing he doesn't really exist.

our ideas of fairness are pretty limited
the problem is man stands condemned already for not giving God the glory and thanks He deserves As the book of Romans describes, man even exherts serious effort in denial of the inivsible God he 'sees' all around
God in mercy saves some... and mercy is totally at His discretion. We earned condemnation and God may grant mercy to some and give them the gift of saving faith.
It might be more accurate to say Everyone has already rejected the Father in not glorifying God and loving Him, and they add to it to the degree they reject the Son.

I have made my own arrangements with my own Gods, thank you very much. That whole Salvation and going to Heaven thing is between you and Jesus. I have my own beliefs, and have made my choice. The Christian Heaven and the Christian Hell are not the only options for an afterlife.

Because it's the same logic the Mob uses to get protection money out of legitimate businesses.
"Gee, that's a nice soul you've got there.... it would be a shame if someone, you know, set it on fire."

sheesh, if he's a loving god why does he have to reject us just because we rejected something? he shouldn't have made us in the beginning then anyways.
