He defended accused terrorist David Hicks right to be tried under a fair process with great selflessness and courage. I believe he is now being victimised for his actions and may be forced out of the military. He represents the absolutelly finest type of American, and I think the US should be terribly proud that it has people like him who are still around to stick up for right and wrong. What do others think?

Thats the problem with this subject. I am in favour of fair processes to determine guilt - that does not mean I am in favour of the guilty.

If you read Bolt yesterday you will not think as you do there has been so much crap written about this common bit of rubbish called hicks that he is just about made out to be hero material my Dad fought in the second world war to allow for people like him to live it makes a mockery of all that ~~

What do I think? I think, and hope, David Hicks is considered the "worst type of Australian".
