I believe the 66 books of the Bible shows itself to be the Word of God. One of the many ways are are the countless prophecies in the Old Testament which were furfilled in the New Testament. The Old Testament in many places writes about Jesus;
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
This was five hundred years before the messiah, Jesus Christ came to the earth. The New Testament has mutiple testamonies of those which were eye witnesses to these furfilled prophecies.
The correct religion or the true religion is based squarely on these 66 books of truth.

Set aside the Bible and consider other issues of what makes any church a true religion. They:
Believe in obeying the law, even the inconvenient ones, such as speed limits when late for work;
Believe in paying taxes, even though there are many ways they could avoid them, as many religions do;
Believe in keeping their word, such as to the IRS that they will not promote politics in the church, and they actually mean it;
Teach their youth that waiting until marriage is preferable to using protection, and for the most part, the youths actually believe it....As a result, they have the lowest rates of out-of-wedlock births and STDs....Yes, there is the occasional ones who would rather have their fun now than wait, but there are far more who choose to wait;
Treat their youth with respect, not just "do what you're told!";
Teach their youths side by side with the adults, the Bible as a whole, and not just Bible stories....The very young may not understand what they are being taught, but by the time you reach the age of understanding, they have a good basic knowledge of the scriptures;
Don’t allow their congregations to get so large that the individual gets lost in the crowd and since everyone is taught the same, it is easy to start a new congregation, with a set of elders;
Have members who know all other members, whether in their congregation, their city, or their county....When Katrina happened, they made sure everyone living in New Orleans could be found in Texas, with every individual accounted for;
Believe their meeting places should compliment a neighborhood, and not overwhelm it, so they are small and don’t include a lot of expensive decorative features....Each church can hold up to four congregations. Each with its own leadership;
Encourage all their members to read the whole Bible and submit their thoughts to see whether the religion could be following God’s Word better;
Don’t pay or elect their leading members or governing board....a fisherman, a tax collector, or a carpenter can end up on the Governing Board;
Can have every member, over the age of 12 answer the following question without just referring to a secular holiday in May:
WHAT DAY DO YOU OBSERVE THE MEMORIAL ON?

Religion is based on faith.
To ask for proof of something which is based in faith is a contradiction in terms.
Religion as such... which is the right one for you?
The key words here are "for you". For the Catholic, the Catholic faith is the real one, whereas for the Hindu, it is not. Hinduism is the correct one, and so on.
It is a subjective issue.
As a Catholic, I could claim that the Catholic religion is the one and true faith but you may not be Catholic, and thus you may disagree with me.
When it comes to religion, if you believe, and have faith, that is enough.
To be honest, as Religion is a subjective issue, it is not possible to give an objective answer, with proof provided.

Actually, you don't...it's entirely up to you to decide...and many of those faith believers will be quick to tell you their's "is the right and the others are wrong."
How about this proof? RELIGION is what killed Jesus, if in fact he did exist.
Once you reveal to those who have faith that you still question which faith is true, they will insult you by suggesting that you are "narrow-minded". Where in the bible does it say for those followers to insult the doubters? They seem to forget their place as well...blame it on their teachers who neglect to remind them not to insult but to Pray for them.
Ever been in prison? One thing they can't take away from you in there is "hope". That's what keeps you going. And it's the same out here. Religion provides "hope" for those believers. Without hope, this world would be in chaos. So, I leave religion alone, and I don't insult their faith. It's their choice...

There is no right one.
If you look at the histories of all religions, you'll see they are all created by superstitious men. There is also much evidence of how people easily buy into superstitions, myths, urban legends, and anything an authority figure shoves down their throats. This is especially true when people are indoctrinated at a young age.
And there's just no evidence of any gods actually existing. That's why religious people keep saying that faith is so great. They wouldn't push faith if they actually had facts.

Its very difficult. But not impossible. If you are searching for the right one, I can help you. Study Islam, The Holy Quran and Lives of Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w.) and His Holy Ahle Bayt. You will surely say 'Islam is the only right religion.' If you want more information, contact me.

Well to make it plain the truth is very specific.For example 2+2= 4, some may say hey thats very narrow minded for you saying it only equals 4!Well like that the take into mind Jesus says "For I am The Way,The Truth,and The light no one comes to the father but through Me" John 14:6. Plus He died for you, and He loves you!Think about it.

There is no "right" one - all paths lead to the same end.
There is a right one for you - the one that brings you the feeling of completeness.
