I think the best source is alislam.org. Its clear, conscise and true. There is nothing like it. Also I am pretty sure that after you browse its site and begin to understand it as Ahmadiyy's do you will not consider it an enemy any more.

The place to start is always at home. Get books from renowned scholars in the field and read first to clear up your misconceptions then to learn. You can't study something until you have cleared your mind from bias -which is where most people fail as they refuse to let go of subjective views. Anyway once you've a clearer idea then you would be looking to study. Some good boks I'm reading at the moment are from Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, Abdal Hakim Murad, and Ahmad Thomson. But to be honest a lot of the stuff is either in Urdu or Arabic and you may have to pay to have them translated if you can't get a hold of one. But the two things you must read are Sahih Bukhari and Pickthal Mamaduke English translation of the Quran as these are the basics of what your trying to understand.

in my opinion you can't learning Islam only
through books or by searching internet
because we can't guaranteed whether that
was the correct source or not, because there
are so much wrong information about Islam
on internet coz it was made by Islam's enemy.
Only Koran you can believe in....
my suggestion is you need to get acquinted with muslim community nearby and experienced their daily life...
be optimistic and all the best!!

The Koran. Always go to the source. Quick, before anyone messes that up too. A good summay or encyclopedia is quick. Britannica has virtually two encylopedias. One is short and easier. The other is probably longer than the Koran and knowing Britannica, you probably have to read it ten times to get it. They're pretty good on most things, but they get off track also with over intellectualizing. They get carried away with their own wisdom.

As a Muslim I welcome you to study Islam. There are many places where you can clear up the misconceptions you have, islamtoday.com, islamway.com. muslimconverts.com etc also you should download a respected copy of the Quran that is recognized as accurate. You should also read the miracles of Islam. Maybe you will change and convert so be careful for you may find the truth.

In Islamibad, with the teacher Islmamabobbydinajinahad.

Seriously though, how about at a local mosque.
You might get a surprise and find out that they are your neighbours instead of your enemies.

i can give you support in this respect.
1. Allah (SWT) 'God' is only 'One', has no partner or son, and neither gives birth, nor is He born. He is eternally besought by all and has no beginning or end, and none is equal to Him (Holy Quran example)
2. He is the Merciful and the Compassionate, the Guardian and the True Guide, the Just and the Supreme Lord, the Creator and the Watchful, the First and the Last, the Knowing and the Wise, the Hearing, and the Aware, the Witness and the Glorious, the Able and ' the Powerful. (Holy Quran example).
3. He is the Loving and the Provider, the Generous and the Benevolent, the Rich and the Independent, the Forgiving and the Clement, the Patient and the Appreciative, the Unique and the Protector, the Judge and the Peace. (Holy Quran example). The question of Allah's (SWT) 'God' existence has preoccupied men's minds for many centuries. Those who believe in Allah (SWT) 'God' seem to agree that the limited finite human intelligence cannot prove the existence of the infinite boundless of Allah (SWT) 'God'. It can only illustrate or demonstrate his existence to the satisfaction of the curious human mind.
Those who deny Allah's (SWT) 'God' claim to rely on science, philosophy, or special theories of knowledge. Their arguments are sometimes inapplicable, sometimes irrelevant, always complex, and often incomprehensible. However, the developed mind will find its way to Allah (SWT) 'God'. Failure to find the way does not mean that there is no way. Denial of reality does not make it unreal.

Who is Muhammad pbuh
In the desert of Arabia was the Prophet Muhammad (SAAWS) born, according to Muslim historians, on April 20, 571 . The name means "highly praised". He is to me the greatest mind among all the sons of Arabia. He means so much more than all the poets and kings that preceded him in that impenetrable desert of red sand. When he appeared Arabia was a desert -- a nothing. Out of nothing a new world was fashioned by the mighty spirit of the Prophet Muhammad (SAAWS) -- a new life, a new culture, a new civilization, a new kingdom which extended from Morocco to Indies and influenced the thought and life of three continents -- Asia, Africa and Europe.
And more wonderful still is what the reverend Bosworth Smith remarks:
" Head of the state as well as the Church, he was Caesar and Pope in one; but, he was pope without the pope's claims, and Caesar without the legions of Caesar, without a standing army, without a bodyguard, without a palace, without a fixed revenue. If ever any man had the right to say that he ruled by a right divine It was Muhammad, for he had all the power without instruments and without its support. He cared not for dressing of power. The simplicity of his private life was in keeping with his public life."

What is Islam
The word "Islam" is an Arabic word which means "submission to the will of God "Allah - SWT". This word comes from the same root as the Arabic word "salam", which means "peace". As such, the religion of Islam teaches that in order to achieve true peace of mind and surety of heart, one must submit to Allah (SWT) and live according to His Divinely revealed Law. The most important truth that Allah (SWT) revealed to mankind is that there is nothing divine or worthy of being worshipped except for Almighty Allah (SWT), thus all human beings should submit to Him. The word "Muslim" means one who submits to the will of Allah (SWT), regardless of their race, nationality or ethnic background.
Being a Muslim entails willful submission and active obedience to Allah (SWT), and living in accordance with His message. Some people mistakenly believe that Islam is just a religion for Arabs, but nothing could be further from the truth. Not only are there converts to Islam in every corner of the world, especially in England and America, but by taking a look at the Muslim World from Bosnia to Nigeria, and from Indonesia to Morocco, one can clearly see that Muslims come from many various races, ethnic groups and nationalities. It is also interesting to note that in actuality, more than 80% of all Muslims are not Arabs - there are more Muslims in Indonesia than in the whole Arab World! So though even though it is true that most Arabs are Muslims, the large majority of Muslims are not Arabs. However, anyone who submits completely to Allah (SWT) and worships Him alone is a Muslim.

What is Qur’an
The Arabic world "Al-Qur'an" literally means "the recitation". When used in regards to Islam, the word Qur'an means God's final message to mankind that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. The Qu'ran, sometimes spelled Koran, is the literal the word of God - as it clearly says time and time again. Unlike other sacred scriptures, the Qur'an has been perfectly preserved in both its words and meaning in a living language.

The Qu'ran is a living miracle in the Arabic language; and is known to be inimitable in its style, form and spiritual impact. God's final revelation to mankind, the Qur'an, was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad over a period of 23 years.
" When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy. " Qur'an 7:204
'The revelation of THIS BOOK is from Allah, the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdon.' Qur'an 39:1
'And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And THIS BOOK confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.' Qur'an 46:12
'Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.' Qur'an 2:185
