Do chrisitans have a sence of humour? Or do they take life seriously, and end up being boring. My type of fun is not going on church picnics and talking to pretend people. I like talking to people who have a bloody good sence of humour and like watching comedy, and even going for a drink. Christians what do you see fun? I love going for a cruise with an old friend and drinking as a passenger and having music up loud during summer and making fun of people in cars only in fun. These days people do not know how to have fun, and enjoy themselves. Why is that? Gee life must be getting boring

You are not a Christian .....
You are a Troll with three accounts...
#1 going home soon
#2 ready set fly
#3 ready to fly
And this is just what i have found today!
You are a liar and a disgrace to your religion!
Below is an email where you openly admit to abusing the rules , not to mention the previous question you asked where you wanted people to open multiple accounts with you!
Not surprisingly noone would do it, !
Just because you are low enough to do this ...dont try to drag good people down with you !!

Let's see I got up this morning so God must have a sense of humor. I went to a Rosary last nite after which we had dinner, a margarita and talked with the Priest. One margarita to a customer. God does not forbid drinking or having fun it is the excess that is the problem. Pastors often use funny stories to get a point across. You have been hanging around the wrong Christians. Christians are the happy people, the ones with hope and a future.

Christians don't have a sense of humour that involves sexual violence, oppression of the poor or of any particular group in society, or anything that is sly or deceitful.

The fun in living your life in an unhealthy way is only in the telling yourself that you're in the right socioeconomic bracket that you can get someone to pick you up again and you can go through your contrite act, which is part of passive-aggressivism anyway.

Luke 21:34
"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap."

The Judeo-Christian ethic does not include drama troupes or anything like that. The fact that Christian cults turn people into parodies of themselves or of somebody else is not good. In contrast to the pagan 'eat, drink and be merry', Christians 'eat, drink and rejoice.' They like things to actually turn out well, not just be able to be portrayed in a self-elevating sort of way.

James 4:9, 10
Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

As a Christian, we do have some very good senses of humor in proportion with the rest of humanity. However we do talk about our religion and beliefs seriously as it is a matter of eternal significance for us.

I do not appreciate humor that has as it's primary focus the denigrating of Christians, Jesus, and God.

I use self depreciating humor about myself due to weight. My friends and I joke with each other constantly, but do not venture into treating our religion lightly by joking about it.

I do not know of a human being who doesn't enjoy a good joke and a good hearty laugh... and Christianity doesn't take that away from anyone... but I would say that religion- or "churchianity" might. There's going to be a great deal of joyful laughter in heaven... I'm surely looking forward to that.

But I don't believe in having a horrible time now in order to have a good time later. God is actually in favor of His Kingdom coming NOW to the earth-- as we read in the prayer Jesus taught His disciples to pray, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done ON EARTH as it is in Heaven."

SO clearly- it's not merely "Pie in the sky in the sweet bye and bye"... but also we can have "Steak on the plate while we wait!" Just chalk me up as a Christian laughing all the way to the Pearly Gates.

I love a good joke- satan is one of the best ones I know.
And it remains ever true that .... "He who laughs last... laughs best."

I think having a sense of humor and being able to laugh at ones self is a no no to the christian. I guess it would make the 75 years or so, seem like 100s.

We all are individuals and have a different idea of fun. For me fun is talking with friends, going camping or hiking, and doing things with my sons. I also love to read.

I am not one for generalizations, but sometimes it does seem that what baptism really does is wash away the sense of humor. I am amazed at how many people here don't get jokes. There are some hysterically funny atheists (like me!)and pagan types and a handful of funny Christians, but so many people here are just dim when it comes to humor.

There was a guy on R&S handing out violations for non-relevant or flippant answers to his question the other day. Complete sense of humour failure.

You are the sad on buddy. I am a Christian and I do all the things you just said. The thing is people like just want to stereotipe Christians and think we only live in one way!!! And as for having fun, we'll say how much we'll have in heaven.
