I broke up with my boyfriend recently and told him I needed space until today to think about if I wanted this relationship or not. Now I think I do...but...He sent me a message today saying....
"Hey it's Friday! I hope you enjoyed your time at Tina's and your space from me and such. I hope your week was as good as mine was. Listen are you going to be home either today or tomorrow? I have something I need to say to you.These past few days have really been amazing and something I've needed for so long. This "break up/break" has really made me think about things. I would prefer you did not reply back to this text message but allow me to "express" myself either today or tomorrow. I have done a lot of thinking and really enjoyed this space. Before you say anything positive or negative please allow me to "express" my feelings about this situation. I gave you your space now i deserve your time so pick a day either today or tomorrow."

As I read it I had a couple of thoughts. At no time did I think "he is going to break up with here". What he might say is that he learned the importance of time together and time apart and how it makes him appreciate you even more.
Depending on how old you are, he may ask you to marry him.
Again, these were the first things that popped into my mind.

I would not say he is breaking up or not cause you never know. But it is a big possibility. Sometimes guys need room to think and reflect. Good things do come out from those "time off " sometimes. But bad things also. Just be alert.

You freed a bird in a cage it spread its wings and realised it could fly High..higher...at a distance its green and beautiful on the other side its a mountain with snow at the top can you blame this bird of being confused yet happy it saw things from a different perspective yet all it saw is you feeding it everyday at its cage ..unravel this girl..... it aint good met him you soonest..

I know you would probably think the worst scenario where his message meant for agreeing with you on the breakup, right? But I can honestly tell you that no one here or any of your closest friends will know what's on his mind until you meet with him and listen to what he has to say. Until then, all the best!!!

Either he's going to break up with you or he's trying to make you worry and upset you like you did him. He could just be trying to act like this break has been great and not bothered him at all when really it's torn him apart!
