The KKK members are members of various churches. They use verses in scripture that are twisted to support their beliefs that the white race is better than everyone else and even to the point of saying that other races do not even have souls. They are in all churches. Some are members of a more organized church called the Christian Identity Movement. They support repealing any anti-gun laws, stopping foreign trade, stopping immigration, and so on. The list is endless really, but you get the idea. I will not say that you are wrong or right in your thinking they are Christians. That is your opinion for you to make. I have a very, very hard time saying that someone that promotes hatred of an entire race of people yet in the same breath says "God loves everyone." is a Christian. I have a hard time dealing with that. Yes, I admit that it is my own problem that I deal with. I have a serious issue with racism. I have members of my family that are very racist, and it bothers me a great deal. However, the KKK takes racism to the extreme. In my opinion, the KKK is much like the Islamic extremists that we hear about so often now with this "war on terror" in every news story on the 6 o'clock news. Those that are extremists of Islam are not a good representative of Islam. The KKK isn't a good representative of the Christian faith either.

They profess to be Christians but their actions prove they are not. They could belong to any denomination since the KKK is not a church sanctioned organization and is not recognized as legitimate by any church I'm aware of.

Before I answer that, do you know what a Christian really is? Many people SAY they're Christians because they believe in God, and believe in Jesus Christ. Does that make them Christians? No. Christianity is more than a belief. It's a lifestyle. It means that a person is supposed to be Christ-like. Are members of the KKK Christ-like? Did Jesus hate people based on their race? Did He think He was better than everyone else because He was a Jew? No, no, and NO.
No, the KKK are not Christian. They only CLAIM to be Christian, because that makes their beliefs more palatable to them. It makes ME sick, though.
They are Protestant, as others have said, but they are not Christians. We are supposed to be known by our fruits. THEIR fruit is rotten to the core.

Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is the name of several past and present organizations in the United States that have advocated white supremacy, antisemitism, racism, anti-Catholicism, homophobia, and nativism. These organizations have often used terrorism, violence and acts of intimidation such as cross burning to oppress African Americans and other groups.
The Klan's first incarnation was in 1866
The Christian religion is faltering because of the two fractions. The Catholics and the Protestants. Now enters the KKK that breaks the cult into more fragmentations. See Wikipadeia.

Yes, they are Christians, or at least claim to be, and belong to different denominations. Mostly, they are just warped, frustrated people who are trying to blame the failures in their lives on others.

Members are NOT true Christians. They completely ignore second part of the greatest commandment: "Love thy neighbour as yourself."-Jesus.
