Not anymore. No. There's no job security. If employees are extremely productive, their company may be bought by another larger company which has no loyalty to the employees. They wind up losing their jobs for doing their best.

The lower the unemployment levels and discriminatory employment measures are; the less the reason for job security exist. Most of us do not care if we do not have the same employer for our whole life, but we do not want to be unemployed for extensive periods.
The need for job security differs from country to country. If I lived in USA, it would not be an issue to me.

I think all the job is security if you know yourself clearly about what something that you want or need to do and what something that you must not be to do. and if you know your ability i think everything that you do always security.
