They say:
- if the picture falls down and destroyed (the picture itself or the glass that bound it) without any cause & effect from worldly elements...is a sign of fate for its (picture owner) the downfull, destructions, accidents or death...or something, somebody from spirits world (probably family, friends) warns you of something to happen, or to be cautious in near future.
- but, don`t believe too much of its destructive fate. You can change everything if you put strong belief in God and ask Him of good things to happen, blessings, or change`s in fate`s happenings. God is more powerful than anythings else in this world. Be with God, avoid sinning, ask His forgiveness all the time and nothing bad happens to you.
Believe on that! Good Luck! ... and ... Be blessed !!!

A passing car or truck can make vibrations and cause a picture to move or fall.
A seismic event (earthquake) that you can't feel because you are up and moving around could cause it..
A draft or breeze could cause it..
A door slammed somewhere else in the house..
Weak plaster giving way because of too much weight..
Or any combination of the above plus other things could cause it..
A vibration moves the picture to the edge of the nail/screw the picture is now poised to fall .. then something else happens and there it goes...
Pictures fall off walls all the time just because this particular picture had a rosary on it doesn't make it any different than all the other pictures that fall every day..
Check the nail/screw and make sure it's securely in place with a pretty pronounces upward angle so the picture will be more securely fastened and gravity pulling on the picture will seat it firmly on the nail..
If you live in an area prone to truck traffic or seismic events consider affixing Museum Putty/ Wax ( a very sticky putty material that does not stain or mar surfaces) to the corners of the picture and pressed to the wall for extra stability.. You can get Museum Putty/Wax at most framing stores...

Have you been saying the daily Rosary (at least five decades)? Our Lady made this request of the faithful not once but several times when She appeared to three shepherd children at Fatima, Portugal. Maybe She wants you to begin saying the daily Rosary.
Here are Her fifteen promises to those who faithfully recite the Holy Rosary:

Hi, look do not read into this something that your imagination throws up,it happens to other types of pictures and mirrors too,and the causes are usually simple, too much weight on the frame is one cause and weak fittings are another.
The best thing to do is to replace it back on the wall and forget about the incident.
God bless.

Perhaps Mama Mary wants you to pray the Rosary. That's what she said in one of her apparitions at Lourdes - "Pray the Rosary."
Peace and blessings!

Do you question it when something DOESN'T fall off the wall after you've hung it up? Why not? Shouldn't that mean something too?

It is probably just that after time the gravity was pulling on it and it slid off the nail or screw.

Don't be ridiculous, if you start associating random events with their connection or proximity to inane religious symbols, you will live your entire life building fantasies.
