I tend to forgive (if not forget) as I don´t like having bad feelings with people around me. Whether I would fully forget, though, it will depend on what happened between us and how hurt I feel at the time. I would never seek revenge - it´s a feeling I don´t understand and it´s completely useless... not a very constructive way of building up human relatioships.

This is why I am totally agains death penalty.

You can try to forgive You definitely will never forget You try revenge and honestly you feel crappy afterwards! Take it from me I have been there! revenge is a dish best served cold. forgive and move on , you can carry with you as you learn and grow but leave the revenge alone unless you want to really hurt someone. Because in the end it doesn't make it any less hurtful to you.

Way back when I am still a member of a Christian church a year ago. I preached about forgive and forget. Modesty aside I am a dynamic speaker and the congregation wept hearing my sermon about that topic. After a couple of years, one of my best friend did something that ruined my reputation even my family relationships. I got mad and forgot about what I had learned for many years. I planned for a revenge but did not materialized. Until now I am still harboring hatred inside me against that person. Upon rading your question, I saw myself in you person. My friend it will do you no good if you plan for revenge. Go on with you life as a good citezen and forget the wrong doings of any person. In the end you will realized that you are the loser. Please forgive and forget.

To forgive is noble. If you choose to forgive the person you should as well forget whatever bad things that he/she has done to you and you should do it sincerely. Revenge is the culprit of all the troubles in the world so why do it? It will only lead you to a more distress life. Try to move on without looking at your bad past.

I can forgive, but it might take a little awhile. Depending on what. Betrayal is the hardest to get over.

But I don't forget.

Revenge? No, that's not me.

i dont forgive people because i cannot do that whole heartedly,at the same time i dont get hurt for stupid things.i will try to forget, mostly i will forget ,but truely intensity of the situation matters .
what ever it may be till now i have never taken any revange
if i were to take a revenge,i feel pity for him or her because he or she is fixed by me .
if i dont forget but still i have never taken a revenge it means i have forgetten him ,i have forgetten the life in his body ,for me he is a dead body
i will take a revenge if i like a person and i want him or her to break their ice ,not to show what i am ,but to show what he or she has done .

i think you never forget, you would be dumb to forget but if you truly forgive you don't let what happened in the past dictate your future actions. You don't throw it back in the person's face, you truly let it go but you never forget.
