As a buddhist, I know this bit about Transcendental Meditation.
But Transcend Dental Medication, sorry...pardon me, I NEVER heard about it.
Neither I think it exist in Buddhist teaching.

Actually anyone can, partly. I was getting some dental work done and couldn't take it anymore. It had gone on for 45 full minutes from training dental students and I was about to leave when they turned on the music. It still hurt, but I knew I could go on as long as they could. I have to believe it was the music. Scientists are saying that pain is concentrated thought. I notice when I think of something else positive I can ignore a minor headache. It's hard, if not impossible, to think of two things at once. They had that monk, I think he was a Buddhist, who dowsed himself with gasoline and lit it on fire in a lotus position. He never flinched. The video was on the news so you could see it so I have to believe it I guess.

Well if they can sit out in the snow all night and not feel the cold this would probably be easy-peasy. I was watching a program on television about people in India who become Sanyassin. One of them just stuck his arm straight up in the air many many years ago and has never lowered it since. You'd think gangrene would set in.
