"Sylar killed the little girl's parents and got the power to find anyone in the world, which is why sylar is the boogey man, that she see her when she thinks about him.(I guess they miss that little part) That happened at least before sylar killed Peter, so Peter should have that one also, and wouldn't have had to look for him. "

Nope, you totally missed it there buddy. The girl specifically said it was not Sylar, but someone worse. And Sylar would have had to cut off her head to get that power, not her parents' heads.

I liked the finale, sure Claire hesitated.... but throughout the whole season she has had alot of stress dealing with her new power and then the whole who's my daddy thing and now she has to shoot her uncle... never mind she is 16! What 16 yr old girl feels comfortable shooting anyone. Come on people, its a drama... you know made for TV so people can connect with it.

With Nathan, he sacrificed himself to save the city... true hero if I ever saw one. He did this even though he knew if the explosion happened, he would become president... this character finally developed some character.

I was totally aggravated that Sylar got away, but that and the new scary guy will make for an interesting drama next year.

I liked it, and it went mostly with the way the story had been going. there is a big flaw in it.

OK every power Peter had gotten in the first 21 epi, he got because some one used their power, even with the mind control to move/stop things, he got because sylar use it on him. he didnt get power to fly til Nathan flew. Even Clair had just use her power when sylar threw her in to the locker, before he got it.

when Ted walked up, Peter just got it. ok so if I am wrong about Peter having to have them use their power first, in that case, Peter would have 2 powers that would stop him from blowing up.

1st is Sylars power to know how things work. If he "knew how things worked" He wouldn't lose control.

2nd right before Peter first fought sylar, Sylar killed hiro's g/f and got the power to do/read something and keep that knowlegde.

and a 3rd power, to answer one of the answers. Sylar killed the little girl's parents and got the power to find anyone in the world, which is why sylar is the boogey man, that she see her when she thinks about him.(I guess they miss that little part) That happened at least before sylar killed Peter, so Peter should have that one also, and wouldn't have had to look for him.

WOW....where's the love? Nathan (I have NO doubt in my mind) didn't die - neither did Peter.... and why would Claire put a bullet in her Uncle Peter's head if her dad could help save him? I wouldn't have if there was another way...and of COURSE Sylar lived...he needs to team up with "the one who can see" Molly - and we all know who that is :) Evil is as evil does LOL

Ok, here goes my ranting and raving...

I don't see why Claire had such troubles with shooting Peter. She knew he could regenerate, so what's the big deal? Every other time Peter lost control of his powers someone could just knock him out and that took care of the problem. Oh come on! She was having a crisis of consciousness...give me a break!!!

Nathan flying him up...cheesy! And the strangest part of the whole thing is that Syler hardly even used any of his powers for the "big scarry final battle".

The only cool thing about the episode was that Hiro stabbed Syler. I wonder who the little girl was talking about who could "see her when she thought about them". She did not refer to this person as Syler, so we can probably assume that there is another bad person out there.

NBC spent how much money advertising a finale where the final battle was as lackluster as this!?!

why did any of you watch it then if you are so dissapointed with heroes . I happen to love heroes and think it was a great show and they left the ending the way they were supposed to ,the audiance wanting more that is what is meant by cliffhanger ppl . does no one get that but me ? good luck .

yes I agree that the last episode was really stupid. what was the point of nathan dying with his brother? he can't regenerate himself. for that matter can even peter regenerate himself after that explosion? and what is the significance of the solar eclipse when hiro went into th past.
